From what I have read they have started the experiment on wednesday, but this is only the "warming up" phase. The actual main part of the experiment will take place in a few weeks. _________________ ~ I look up to Heaven, every star I see is mine.

in 2009 they will start some real experiments

wot a bunch of egotistical money wasting twats.. and of course we ALL know they will only try and use it for "evil".. If there is a way to make a big bomb out of it or some way to destroy things by making some sort of weapon out of it in order to dominate the world and raise hell.. I couldnt help but noticing USA has heavily funded this thing.. forgive me but I'm always a little skeptical when they stick their beak in on these "experiments".. We can only hope nothing happens.. _________________

...why so negative?
its said this LHC will have some superb secondary products.
if a different level of space-time is discovered on LHC, time travel can be a possible plan! |

I reckon 6 or 7 billion euros is small change for the knowledge of the fabric of the universe... _________________
