Dynamite Covers
This has been making me curious for the last couple of days...
Now that the US release of Dynamite has been announced it would seem that for reasons best know to themselves, Sony have decided to change the original artwork from a black and white photo of Jay to a rather curious looking gold buffaloman. Perhaps people will remember seeing the buffaloman somewhere before and pick it up? Anyway, it seems that there are mixed reactions over which cover looks the best so I was wondering what you all think...
Which one would you pick up? _________________

Truth is the die hard fans will want both copies because of different artwork thus multiplying album sales... |

The American cover is so much better. I won't even begin to explain how much better. _________________ Fascist.

what?
ya'll insane, that gold buff man cover is so cheap, honestly, I'd rather see J's face than a cheap drawing of the buffalo man, i mean..cheap
At least I got the aussie cd whoo, now I'd wait and see if in méxico, the cover remains the original or it changes to the cheap gold wordart thing |

Yeah...I think the were trying to do something different for the European cover at least
It's always confused me how people will always take the buffaloman over ANYTHING else! Well it is cool I guess
EDIT: By the way, if the gold buffaloman on the US cover is actually shiny (in foil or something) then it wins back some serious points _________________

Hello there,
Mmm.. is a difficult choice!! If that's the real American cover... mmm... I like them both (or are equally good, or equally bad, don't know what that means! ).

well, if the buffaloman is reall good shine (like the silver letters on euro dynamite) it must be cool (and if the buffaloman itslef is well done) the cover is quite good, at least it does more sense with the album tittle..... _________________

I think both covers aren't that good, but I give my nod to the buffalo man for one reason: I think it can remind the U.S. market of Jamiroquai from the "Virtual Insanity" days. I sure hope the gold is shiny and not just graphics, that would really be nice. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Yeah, I agree with the 'shiny and please not as bad as it looks in the computer screen version' brigade. The buffalo man cover is better (not difficult, really), but it does look a bit tacky if it's going to literally look like it does on the picture that Sony have released. A more interesting background with a plain black or white buffalo man would have done it for me (or just a negative of the EOPE cover - I'm still hoping they'll do that one day. Simple, but classic).
