R&B singer Daniel Merriweather had a few issues with his mic but didn't let it affect his relaxed style.
The Main Stage crowd, though some admitted they didn't know many of his songs, applauded and cheered at each one.
He was introduced by Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman but after a few songs said he was struggling with the mic and made signals to people backstage for help.
"This mic is obviously made for someone shorter," said the singer, who was dressed casually in a shirt and demin jacket.
By the third song the mic had been replaced. "This was one for a slightly taller man. Perfect," he joked. |

Just appeared live on Later with Jools Holland
apparently Morrisey was due on but dropped out through illness - Daniel performed Change along with Mr versatile Paul Turner on bass
Paul may have been there as Annie Lennox was interviewed. See the episode again here soon:

also performed including Paul Turner on bass were 'Cigarettes' & 'Stop Me' - a Ronson megahit combining the old Smiths classic and 'keep me hanging on'
