Thanks so much for all the beautiful birthday wishes... I have neglected the forum and didn't read this til today!
I had a great birthday and a wonderful party the following weekend, but I wished that you could all be here for it!
One day when I live in Europe I will have a Jamily Birthday Party and most of you will be able to make it! (I'll pay for flights!)
An interesting note - my birthday was also the 7 year anniversary of me seeing Jamiroquai live for the first time (which was in Brisbane on my 16th).
Just to let you know... Nude Continuum goes on, but its form (and name) has changed slightly. Princess Freesia has left to do her own solo album (which will blow your minds let me tell you), and I have taken over as the lead singer of the band. The boys and I are currently writing the 2nd album and will be starting to record it next month.
Jamirotalk will be the first to hear samples and read the story of the album's creation.
I can tell you that the next album is going to be MASSIVE. It is a very personal album for me, will be 100% live (like old school Jamiroquai style!) with horns, strings, big vocal choirs, organs, the works... a few more influences in this one too... expect flavours of reggae, gospel, pure funk and of course acid-jazz and disco as always.
All will be revealed in the months ahead!
Thanks again everyone for the ongoing love and support, and we send it right back!
