Different songs would be nice? Where´s the difference? And that is the usual setlist during the last 4 years. For how many concerts in different countries? _________________ I´m breaking out,I´m flying higher than a pig in space |

How many fans at those concerts complained about the setlist? Just wondering.
I didn't say anything about the setlist from the past years being different.
I said I'd hope and think that next time they came around (to the USA) that the setlist would be different. I really do.
I agree with you that yes, different songs would be nice. very, very nice.
As well as Jamiroquai playing in the USA would be nice.
And I also think it'd be really, really nice for me to interview them as I've wanted to do for over 10 years.
But I also understand that I can't always get what I want or what is nice.
It just doesn't bother me as much that they have been doing the same setlist - even when I saw them 5 times in a year span. _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com |

I think, some old songs are made for brass. Some songs are very good without brass(TWM, High Times, Use the Force...) but i always prefer with brass section of course
That's why JK choose always the same tracks, and of course his voice is not the same, so some songs are very exhausting to sing.
But I am happy because his voice has improved for the 4 last years, Sepang and Sentul were really impressive.
And if the new album has lot of brass, it may be possible, to have the brass section again, for the big tour
It would be great if JK could sing Planet Home, Butterfly, Falling, where do we go from here...you know there is only Canned heat from Synkro that they plays, what a shame.
Of course : EOPE, Blow your mind, Mister Moon(that they plays during soundchecks), You are my love, Black Crow, Main Vein, Starchild, Tallulah...
But it's only a dream...the band need brass, and they will have around 100 songs with the new album...it's hard to choose, so they take allways the most famous (except Virtual Insanity, maybe because too hard to sing). |

hey ragadoodles, do you want some cold water to chill down, you seem to be desperate about one and the same setlist. We ALL waiting for new stuff, so if they aren't playing old never played songs it doesn't change anything _________________

As far as other setlists go I agree they have been playing in that comfort mode of the same setlist for a long time...with a few different tunes sprinkled in here and there......
A lot as to do with changing band members too....
But mainly I think they are doing a "greatest Hits" tour still being that the last album to actually be released was High Times the singles....so it makes sense that thats what they are doing...
They did change it up a bit at the Electric Proms, and Scala..and Malaysia has never seen them....but I definetly would like to hear some break from the greatest hits setlist ....but it's nice that they're even performing still! so you have to be thankful for that.. |

I have to say I'm impressed with Jay's vocals, I mean not only he sounds better, but the ad libing in the middle of the songs are actually quite interesting!
That Space Cowboy version is gold (for example, how long has it been since he sang the 'parabapa parabapapa' part?) |
