I read the book, but didn't saw the movie. I'm from Naples (lived 25 years there before moving), it's sad but almost all that was written in the book is true. I guess there are international editions of that book... you should read it.
And if you weren't born there, there are lot of things you can't understand...

I'm not sure funny is the word I would use! lol.
Perhaps the story of those two goof-ball wannabes, but most of it was brutal and sad and tragic... _________________

Funny?
I also live in the south of Italy where a particular kind of mafia is well settled down and its not funny at all.
Gomorra is a snapshot of a very cruel and horrible reality.
Everything in the film is taken from real facts.

So true; so Ririka please, start counting till 10 before speaking in a no-appropriate way. _________________

I'm not Italian either but I believe she didn't mean to be rude. And it's an opinion like any other... _________________ GIGGLES! |

Gomorra is still one of the worrying movie ever saw.
I don't know Mafia so clearly as people from the south of Italy but I can state it's terrifying, and the Media here (and maybe abroad as well...) try to hide the evidence of how this phenomenon is bad!
BAD for the people living towns like Naples or Palermo and so on...
And anyways I don't know how you can sleep watching such a TRUTH...
Read the book or watch the movie, history doesn't change.
Yes Seb, too much hype but that story is reality (I say, unfortunately). _________________

ummmm...it seems you dont like "funny" word in this situation.
calm down please.
i mean ---> "im interested in reading books like this one to understand the real dark side of human nature."
im always thinking when i watch news&movies&books, why ppl kill ppl, why ppl do turn to crimes.
so im interested in "behavioral science" "human ecology(social science)"...alot
i mean..."a observer in the worldwide zoo". you know.
i meant no harm.
but Italian people here did feel bad.
im so sorry about my english.
anyway, "Gomorra" is a very valuable book to learn alot. i think so.

But also rich people + lots of guns = BAD. And you see that in movies too. Therefore, generally guns = BAD. Oh well... _________________

Actually, they can be useful tools. But... guns give power. Like many say, with a great power comes a great responsibility. And that's where it all gets f'd up, because nobody cares about responsibility. Actually, people are bad. So yes, with mankind in its current state, guns are bad. Sad, eh? _________________

Quite sad..but still they turn nice sports! I love to do some shooting against some targets! Makes me happy to know that I'm actually enjoying without actually killing nobody!
Have you ever tried? _________________ GIGGLES! |
