i understand what u mean cvr... but i wouldn´t take it all to personal..when u write your posts i get the feeling u feel offended or let down.
in the moment jk said to be ready in summer he for sure assumed to have it done by then...sometimes it comes different than we think .there was no meaning of treating us disrespectless or anything like that. _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |

I dont blame them about it , in fact i expect a fantastic album , but i think ,as fans , we deserve respect . i think the one who announced that the album was going to be ready around summer was jk right??? if he knew that this was going to take more time , he should not have said anything about when the album was going to be ready in order to avoid some reactions. it would have benn better if he had only said .¨we are still recording¨
well that is my opinion . i have nothing agaisnt the band but that kind of contradictions annoys me |
No, sorry. I don't agree at all. And I don't want fans like you to speak on my behalf.
"We deserve respect" ... WTF? |

i dont´really think we are " owed" any special respect...
every human being should have respect of their own kind and nature.
it helps making this world a more peaceful place.
a sensitive topic indeed! _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |

well diego if you do not want to be included i respest your decision , and yes i should not have emphasized the ¨we¨¨ but i have commented this with other fans and well they have the same reaction .
the problem it is that it is not the first time jk do the same thing . remember first he said it was going to be around febraury then between april and may , then during the european summer and now this????
the big question is ... will it be ready for november?? _________________ HIGH TIMES PERU :

So?
Who cares?
They are recording an album, not expecting a baby and a due day to give birth to it. They can take all the time they want. And, most importantly, they can say something and then (because of several reasons we don't/shouldn't/won't know) have to say something else instead. It never happened to you in a different situation?
Go buy some other records in the mean time, go watch a movie, put yourself in a coma for the next 8 months, I don't care... but please, let me remind you is not that important.
Much worse scenario: is not 2005 and we don't have to wait until 2010. Is just a few months away. |

i think it's good they are taking there time but it could also be detrimental to keep going over the same piece of work.
Anyway - we don't know when it will be and perhaps Derrick was giving them all some breathing space from the expectation. Also the audience were not interested in Jamiroquai particularly, more the drumming techniques and tips they had to offer. _________________

Well guys, certainly there is a lot of people eager to get their hands on our beloved band's new cd, but we are still waiting, and waiting, aaaand waiting for five years now, a couple of months shouldn't be a problem. I agree with cvr 316 with the "tired of waiting" thing, because i a m too, really tired of waiting. But that is normal because we are fans, and we want to listen to jamiroquai's new stuff, but i think that we are mixing our sensations. Mixing our anxiety to get the new stuff soon with frustration for not having it, and some are taking it very personal.
I had my times when i felt just like cvr 136, its normal, we want it, they keep promising dates and then pushing it back, its anoying for the fans. But we dont have to get angry, they must have their reasons, or problems. Its true that they are not giving any official information, and that is making it worse.
I still beleive that they already finished the album and that they dont have a label to release it with. Because tell me guys, they released Space Cowboy on 1996 and Travelling without moving two years later. We have five years now!! to much dont you think?? I know that the proccess is long, hard, and annoying, but i think five years is a lot, the beatles recorded their albums in less time, and they were making albums that were milestones in the history of rock. So dont tell me that they are still working on it.
Well sorry guys if it was toooooo long, but i just wanted to share my thoughts with you, and also tell cvr 136 to hang on there mate!!! i share your feelings, YOU HAVE ALL THE RIGHT TO FEEL THAT WAY, nobody can tell you other way. And to dyego dont be so hard on the guy, and dont take it so personal!! take it easy grasshopper.

It seems like no album since November means no touring since then. Is that correct? Anybody knows for sure that there’s no summer tour coming? I’d like to travel all around Scotland and it’d be interesting to know if I have to save some extra money or not |

hehe So rude!
But I guess we need let the boys take them time...The next album can come tomorrow or in the next 10 years. We really don't know.
And this can't be the most important thing in ours lifes, really. I'm waiting too but... _________________ "Love is the answer, at least for most of the questions in my heart". |

2 Words: Chinese. Democracy.
For those of you who dont know, "Chinese Democracy" was the Guns and Roses album that took something like 15 years to come out after an album in 1993. They began recording in early 1998 and it actually came out in stores, after several several several delays promised by the band , in November 2008. So I know that doesnt make Jamiroquai's album come out tomorrow, but whenever you think you have it bad, someone's had it worse. _________________ "...200 miles per hour and still movin'..." |
