I just can't believe he's died, my Mum told me that she took me to a Jackson 5 concert when I was 5yo but I can't remember it. He was an absolute genius, totally brilliant and someone who can never be replaced Sad

I'd love to hear Jamiroquai do a cover of "I Can't Help It". You know it'd be great.

Luv that track! But wouldn't be up for a JMQ cover, there are way better songs for that imo.

Believe it or not, "I Can't Help It" was written by nobody else other than Stevie Wonder.

i reakon the sadest thing was how michael was in the end. i mean from that adorable little boy singing "blame it on the boogie" to ... well i think we all know how he was in the end. poor guy...

Last night the BET Awards (Black Entertainment Television) did a tribute all night to Jackson. Some were awful, but some were wonderful, like Ne-yo singing 'Lady In My Life'. Anyway, here is a snippet of when Janet came out to speak on behalf of the family...it was heart wrenching to watch.

It's one of his best tracks I admit, my point is that there isn't too much boogie in it for JMQ to cover it.

buffaloman_R Hello again, buffaloman_R

Some interesting videos have popped up online pertaining to the final rehearsals that MJ and his dancers were working on for his July/August "This Is It" UK Tour before his death. Here are the links.....MJ still had it alright :

- Staples Center Rehearsal Video Performing "They Don't Care About Us"

All of your words are so emotional to read. I feel so sorry for all us and for all of his fans around the globe who miss him deeply. I am absolutely choked up. Radio stations have been playing his music here in the UK pretty much non-stop and the mood is very sombre. No matter how bizarre he became to the outside world, he was a mother's son, a sibling, a friend, an ordinary man who deserved equal respect, and a hugely talented and seemingly shy individual.

Michael Jackson's music was there every step of the way with me from Motown, Off the Wall, Thriller....to date. Every one of his songs holds a memory, a taste, a smell. Even though I was born in the early 70's, my love for Motown started at an early age and I remember whilst in the US, I saw the Jackson 5 dance at the Motown 25 celebrations (I want you back / the love you save). I made my aunt get a copy of the show, and I practised that dance until I was blue in the face. Ever since then, like many of you, I was not only a fan of his music but I was fixated on his feet.

I am sad that he went through so much pain throughout his whole life, even if he did try to recreate his childhood. I am so sad to read all the good things about him now when he's not here, but when he was alive, as Jonas wrote, he was sh*t and spat upon. I am also so deeply sad that a part of my past will never be reignited by new material. Not on this planet, anyway.

I just hope that he is rehearsing his new stuff for when I get to wherever he is now! Am going to miss his presence very much.
