All roads lead to.... nope, not Rome, but Brussels!
As a special for our Belgian Jamily members, here a picture a friend posted on facebook:

And after informations from an old school mate, this road sign isn't a fake, like some kind of photo editing.

As you might know, in Belgium there are mainly 3 linguistic regions.
The biggest, the Flemish part, where people speak Flemish, some kind of Dutch dialect.
The second, the Waloon part, where people speak French or even French dialects.
The third, much smaller than the 2 first parts, the region people in Northern Luxembourg call New-Belgium, where people speak German or German dialects.
(In fact, there is even a fourth, very small, called "Areler Land" which means the city of Arlon and its "outskirts", where people (used to) speak Luxembourgish.)

Well, Brussel is the Dutch/Flemish name of Brussels and Bruxelles is the French one.

It's not such a weird thing, it happens in any bilingual country or nearby the border of two different countries (i.e. switzerland, northern italy etc). The funny thing here is that this sign is quite partial... it points a shortcut only to the dutch-speaking folks! Laughing

may i forward it to failblog?
