I'm just watching the film "Podium" with the Belgian actor Benoît Poelvoorde playing the role of a Claude François immitator.
Having a break now, I take the opportunity to post some songs by Claude François (also known as Cloclo). (I'm pretty sure all French speaking people here know him. )
THE French disco anthem (Maybe the best known Claude François song in the French speaking world):
Alexandrie, Alexandra
Maybe his most funky hit:
Magnolia Forever
Finally here, a world hit's original version, known as "My way" in English:
Comme d'habitude
Enjoy! _________________

Take a look to the Brilliant "Gently Disturbed" by Avishai Cohen Trio, with a fantastic Shai Maestro on piano
To Julia: good taste, Frank Gambale is one of the best guitar player in the world! Have you listen to these Chick Corea Elektric band's album: Light Years, Eye of the Beholder and Beneath the Mask? _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |
