Baby, Rock Dust Light Star
And it's coming at you baby yeah
Coming at you baby

I'm a man on the moon
Hoping I come back to soon
Am I the only one to see light
No use to getting down
Pull your knees tonight

So dumped in love
Because I got no faith
I've seen those truths and lies
Through that and through my face

I found the crazy clutches
All the human race
Must be alone

How could it be
You're near to me
The sounds all up in the auxiliary

There's nothing about your war
You can call it what you like
I know where I'm from
And it's cold and dark
Cuz all the sinners
Are just sage without the sparks
Heaven took off
Telling them apart
Oh yeah

Coming at you,
Rock Dust Light Star
Coming at you baby,
36,000 miles away
Rock Dust Light Star
What you made
And what you are

Can't you see
The stars for you and me
Waiting like silent candles in the night

Atomic Nation
You can make a fight
You never fight
I never felt
I never prayed
I don't have to join in
With the other slaves

I'm not the only one
Who feels betrayed
Oh yeah

Baby Rock Your Body
I'm going against the fade
I won't be born again
Salvation coming from us high
Coming at you baby
Coming higher

Rock Dust Light Star
Coming at you,
Rock Dust Light Star
Coming at you baby,
36,000 miles away
Rock Dust Light Star,
Coming at you baby,
What you made
And what you are

Rock
Dust
Light
Star

Rock
Dust
Light
Star

I'm square big
In a round hole
Baby there's no place left for my wounded soul
Maybe the King of Kings
Finally lost control of theirs

Coming at you baby

Rock Dust Light Star
Coming at you baby,
Rock Dust Light Star
Coming at you baby,
36,000 miles away
Rock Dust Light Star,
Coming at you baby,
What you made
And what you are

Hmm nice timing with the lyrics. Surprised

But hmm... The tune is not strong enough for a single. Not catchy, sounds like a mix of seven days in a sunny june with hot tequila brown. But i'd assume that was more like a test performance, can't think about anything else.

cheers.

Smile I like it ,but then I don't , yes I agree, its not strong enough for a debut single. It's not hitting hard on the funk vibe. But Im not throwing in the towel just yet (or if I will), this song have to grow on me a bit kinda like a Dynamite throwback. It's something new from them in 5 years. Im excited Very Happy If this song is on the album, it seriously needs a remix. Can't wait to hear more new stuff Razz

Great pics Fra!!!Was Jay nice?? wish I was there Smile

I think it's a song from the new album but which will not be released as a radio single

the song is already during 5minutes15

Jay said that he can't play more tracks from the new album because of the record company. I think the main single from the new album need a really important promotion from mercury records, so the band will not play the main single hit.

The printed setlist had what looks like Goodbye To My Dancer listed after Rock Dust Light Star. A new song they didn't play...?

"Rock Dust Light Star" won't be the first single of the new album... But expect the release of the new single at the end of august! Smile
Anyway, on the setlist there were a lot of songs that they don't play, including "Half The Man", "Feels Just Like It Should", "High Times", "Goodbye To My Dancer" (new track)... And they rehearsed a lot more! Wink
And the brass section (which play on the new album too) was due to play this gig and the Hard Rock Calling only, but they decided to keep them for the whole tour! Nice idea! Wink
BTW it was the best Jamiroquai gig I've ever had the chance to assist... Fantastic setlist, amazing reworked version ("Hooked Up", "Little L" with a very "Pleasure-like" bassline), great audience & everybody on the stage seemed to enjoyed it!

I love this band! Smile

Once again, you're 100% correct, not strong enough for a single, a mix of those horrible, popsicle-bubble gum coated in honey-caramel songs that I totally dislike...

....what a bummer...I'm sorry to be again the guy with the wrong attitude, but the song was terrible!

The album will be a reprint of Dynamite, but sweeter. Plain bad. Period.

I really like the new song. Although Jay can't stop dropping 'baby' on every chorus! Laughing
