Very different! I liked it a lot !!! |
Finally Javis is happyjappy!!! |
I found his voice here very interesting. I don't know how, but this tune remembers me to lenny kravitz in some way, I don't know if that's good or not, but I dig this song |
It's very Lenny! Was the first thing that came to mind. _________________ *Meow* |

I's because Lenny was also heavily influenced by Led Zeppelin and the riff in this song is actually quite funky as most LK riffs are. |

Listening once again... so so. Expected some change in the music in the middle, but it's the same thing all over.
Stream download finishing, will crop the song and post, maximum possible quality. _________________ "Sit, back, kick that switch and hyper zoom!" |

I agree but the voice, especially at the beginning is also very Lenny!

OH YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I ADORE IT!!!
It remind me of Lenny too and "don't ask me why" of Jimi Hendrix...but is a known thing that I understand nothing!
Yes it's orgasmic, should be the lead single, so sexy, deep, this ....foggy voice, THAT guitar, even like the backing voices even if they're too presents, great great GREAT! Finally I'm happy, not Jamiroquaish at all but yet who cares, what is beautiful doesen't need an etiquette.
make me wanna smoke a lot too...and hell I'm running out of sigarettes _________________ No man is an Island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main and any man's death diminishes me, because

Thank you for the link Zsoma! You've saved my day!
It's a very fresh and nice song! What a pity that it's not the lead single!
RDLS is full of surprises! Maybe 12 tracks: 4 Rock/4 Funky/4 soulfull? It could be a perfect equation!
Keep the faith ladies and gentlemen! One or two Funky-Jazzy tracks will figure on the album (remember the funky jam before TWM in Scala 07 or the links between Seven Days/Alright 08 or Little L/Alright 10 or just Hooked up/High Times 10!)
The two additionnal tracks from The Greatest Hits are an interesting indications: Runaway (Disco Funk) and Radio (Rock/soul) There are the two new directions of the band!
Ps: Congratulations to Meike whom is still positive through these darkest days! Your posts are rays of sunshine! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from"

Here it is, cut directly from the show WMA file, keeping the same quality (160kbps stereo, 44.1 kHz).

EDIT:
Sounds similar to Led's "Good Times Bad Times" beginning. _________________ "Sit, back, kick that switch and hyper zoom!" |

Haha... thank you.
This song really got me! For the others I needed a bit time, but I like them too now. The only thing I cannot accept is the album cover.
I am trying to "put myself in the band's shoes"... and I feel sorry for all those really negative comments, especially those who doesn't show any respect for their hard work. (I mean, here the discussions are controversial but still respectful - over at funkin some comments are just below the belt!)
But you know, in the end... everyone will enjoy the new songs live, I am pretty sure!! They will spice up the gigs and the setlists!!
I have the feeling the best songs are still to come!
