You know i really really get it now.
Jamiroquai has never been a typical style for me, just that truh speaking through the soundwaves of these musicians, and ofcourse things change, thats natural, you cant hold on to things and expect them to be like they were (People change, remember in Shoot the moon  because it might die without you knowing it, i rather see Jamiroquai play other types of styles alive then to be a dead coverband of themself like so many others bands are. Steve Lukather quit Toto because he felt that theyve didnt have any more to give just playing "Africa" over and over again, being a coverband of themself, but Jamiroquai do have a lot more to give to the world and you got to open your mind for it or you´ll miss it
And for me as a composer, recently starting a classical training (from a 3 year bass school) , they are such huge inspirations that music is not about wich style but rather what the message is, its not about the tones its the space between that even make them possible to exist (sounds weird i know, reading to much Tao Te Tching...).
But i guess we all listen to music in our own way...
Jay and the band is not driven by fear but rather by curiosity, THATS Jamiroquai for me.

i love jamiroquai music for sure white knuckle ride is so good , rock dust light star is so good , blue skies is amazing but I've Been Hurtin i don't like this song
IF Jamiroquai new songs sound like I've Been Hurtin they will lost a big fan me i mean i will listen all their songs but not the new Album
jamioquai has lost that spark that made him different from the world of commercial repetitive music
but I wonder all these songs released two months before the release of the album are just unfinished demo versions or am I wrong if so expect the final versions for Jamiroquai judge said that "they had 19 songs there will be 11 in the cd"
They are not being tested to determine their songs in the album which will be

For the first time since 1993 I am not going to buy the new album of Jamiroquai. This tune just convinced me. It pissed me off. I would rather give those money to greenpeace.
It is obvoius that they only care about the money. This hasn't got anything to do with the word as we know as music. 
As a musicwriter myself I can totally see how desperatly they are making this music to get as much airplay on the radio as possible. This is not kind of music you do because you like to sing or play it on your instrument. Jamiroquai is dead as a band that produces music. Jamiroquai tries to produce money now.

First time I heard this my immediate reaction was 'Whoaa, what the hell is this?!' It's VERY different from the JMQ stuff we all know and love..
However I've listened a few times now, and it's by far my favourite out of the 4 tracks we've heard so far

 Man, I get feeling all these European radio stations are going to leak RDLS....track by track . As for my feelings upon the 'I've Been Hurtin'", asiding all the 'easily to bash' comments, definitely an experimental track....with a simplistic beginning, and then getting 'funky N' mucky' with the guitars and 'Very Scam Jamiroquai era' JK vocals, very daring new track, and great to see SOMEONE be SNOTTY SOUNDING for a change ! Good good stuff, expect the rest of the album will be as equally interesting as this, thanks and cheers!

It's Rocky!
Kind of the same style as RDLS when heard live.
This album will no doubt be a massive cross section of all genres by the looks of it.Might be a good one to play on Jools
