I had second thoughts about posting but he has used space related lyrics quite alot in the past & studies the Universe. I remember him reading Bill Bryson's books & he may even read Stephen Hawkings.
Then I can't quite make it out but it's along the lines of them both getting in it! In a perfect world of course
i think it all started with - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcIPAXPhNY
infact i can quite easily see 'Radio' being in the new set-list for the up-coming gigs _________________

I wrote something but I delete it as I need to write it with a "clear" head.
I will wait for the album to be out in one month!!! (it's coming soon... ) to judge it. |
Say how you feel – these are the final studio versions. Unless their live counterparts are drastically improved such as the case of Planet Home Live versus the album recording – I don’t see it happening. Although I love RDLS – I can’t believe how much that song continues to improve in the face of the progressive worse everything that’s came since. |

i suppose he couldn't say - We'll go & fly in it as that would bugger up the whole track _________________

Guys, I can't really recognise Jay in this song: his voice ... doesn't sound like him!
As a matter of fact it reminds me of my reaction towards FJLIS: every time I listen to the song I remember Lenny Kravitz! And with this one, just the same, only that it doesn't sound like Jay's voice AT ALL!!!! _________________ Pipoca |

-His voice is a bit Tom Wait -ish! I also love FJLIS. This should be the 1st release, and the last song of each set!
I love Hurtin'! Fabulous. Will do well on the radio.
And yes I'm definitely positive toward the new album. Critical of the negativity.
But if you are a real music fan, you see it like art. Each piece is unique.
It's not like telling your child to draw a circle and expecting a perfect circle!
Have no expectations and you won't be disappointed.

Of what we've already heard, I can arrange the songs from best to worst:
1. I've been hurting
2. WKR
3. RDLS
4. Blue Skies.
I have become to appreciate a bit BS. That's because I heard it once again and it got stuck on my mind haha. So, it has to have something good. |

Wow, this song has got attitude! Even with a heavy guitar a song can be funky. This is the sexy jamiroquai from the live performances. Maybe a bit too monotone ... |

I'm having the same feelings, yesterday started nodding on the track and I listen to it more and more, but somehow the track is missing it's ups and breakdowns in the chorus part.

Besides, if anyone wants to know what the radio-guy says about the song: he says it's the clear, recognisable sound of JMQ.The sound hasn't change at all, he says. |

Getting confused...but in a nice way
This is different, yes. If I´d have the CD now, I´ll definitely skip this song. Though, is not bad. Jay´s voice sound weird in comparison of how he sounded in other songs, but I think he tried to sound like he was "moaning"..."hurting"...I understand what one of you said about Rob Harris´influence and I agree: you can hear a powerfull guitar when we´re used to have a powerfull bassline. This is Jamiroquai´s new direction, take it or leave it. In fact, it didn´t happened right now: check Live at Montreaux and notice Rob setting the guitar on fire during the gig, even between tracks when he jams The Beatles and AC/DC. Overall, if I have to poll the four songs I´ve heard already, I´d say:
1) WKR
2) RDLS
3) BS
4) IBH _________________ Call me up, turn me on, tune me in... |
