Jamiroquai's stopover/press conference in Mexico 7 Oct.
Hey Jamily,
a fan from Mexico called Jonathan has posted pictures from yesterday (7th October) on his facebook account, showing pics of the whole band Jamiroquai in Mexico. It looks like a press conference - Jay and the boys sitting on a long table in a row. Each of them I think, had a microphone, I also saw Sola speaking to the audience on one pic.
Also, Rob has written on facebook that they are in Mexico, heading to Bogota now. Rob was tagged in those mexican photos, that's why I noticed them.
I invited Jonathan to come here and tell us about the happening - fingers crossed he comes here and shows us all the pics and tells us the story behind.

Here's the link to the story:

And here's my translation for all of you guys (as faithful as possible)

Jamiroquai says Lady GaGa is a freak
The singer considers the she is no more than a profitable phenomenon for record labels.
Jay Kay, leader of the british band Jamiroquai and well known for his eccentric hats and beanies, considered yesterday that Lady Gaga's success is due to the fact that she is a profitable freaj for record labels.
“Lady GaGa is obviously a phenomenon (...) audiences like freaks and if record labels see that they can make mone with them, they’ll do anything”, said the british to the press during a short stop in mexico before travelling to Bogotá (Colombia). The musician is currently promoting his most recent record: Rockdust light star .
Damn I was so busy last night, had I known I would've gone to take pictures of the band, seems some other mexican fans did go to the event.

Check this out...proofreading I found this TERRIBLE mistake on one article.
"En conferencia de prensa, los integrantes del grupo Toby Smith (teclados), Stuart Zender (bajo), Nick Van Gelder (batería) y Wallis Buchanan (didgeridoo), liderados por el “Space Cowboy”, Jason Jay Kay (vocalista)"
They state that the bandmembers are Toby Smith, Stu Zender, Nick Van gelder (wasn't he gone say like..back in 94?!) and Wallis Buchannan and JK...
What a joke...not even a quick google search to find out the real names?...}
Ah...our press...what can I say... |

i guess jay just wanted to show off his flying skills for the 2 videos but i would still like to think there is a deep meaning behind the videos
so far it looks like the band doesn't know when the official tour in 2011 will kick off, i just hope they will figure it out soon by the end of this year...hoping it will be a worldwide tour
and it looks like that album cover is here to stay _________________ I think it’s time to find a new religion |

Love the journalist who wrote "Jay Key" two times in the new.
The name only has 6 letters, for godness sake! How can you misspelling it?? _________________
