I too succumbed to temptation. the album is much better than expected. Still the highest ration of actual BAD songs on the album than any other Jami album in the pat, but it makes up for it with a tune like "To Completely Different Things" (Best track on the album). Cannot wait for my Japanese import to arrive in the next few weeks, and am looking forward to adding to my collection. |

i find it somewhat annoying the peeps are downloading the leak and saying they are excused as long as they bought the album. i dont care if you say you bought the album or not. there is no way to prove it until we see a pic of it in your hand. so lets see how many of you post a pic of yourself with the album booklet later |
Pure flame bait - if you want a debate about the industry and illegal downloading you could pick up on my previous post but picking on what so many others here have said they've done is the way to have a crappy negative argument rather than an interesting debate. |

I don´t care what everyone is doing...
For me the date of the release is kinda like X-mas ...like 24th december ( in Austria we celebrate on 24 )
the snippets of the album I compare to little presents you get before Xmas day and some you are opening..but the REAL presents you are opening on 24th...its a "global" thing...I wanna have the experience of waking up and thinking..TODAY IS THE DAY...running to the xmas tree..ähhm no cd store and then opening my present
even If I could have my xmas presents earlier I wouldn´t like too..that´s how I feel about listening to this album _________________ "Here it is...there is no way to make it better " |

Do you really think that this álbum has a lot of bad songs? Do you think that all good in the good is bad? Or fast persuader? Hey floyd?( with the awesome reagge part) Or lifeline?? Ot goodbye to my dancer? This songs have a lot to do with synkronized songs Or even twm. I Dont know what fans want by now, they Dont like nothing that is new. _________________ Sounds Kind Of Funky!!

not picking on people dumbass. im saying i think it is rediculous to read people say i downloaded it but im still buying. i just dont care. i am betting the ones here that bought the album and choosing not to download think it is getting old to read on and on others talking about it.

What's the fuss?
Ain't it Jamiroquai's or their managment's (record label included) fault that the album leaked?
I think fans are like dogs on raw meat, we take whatever we can get! _________________

Thus proving my point that you're just flaming.

Exactly, looking the other way doesn't un-leak the album - if anyone doesn't buy they record because they downloaded it then that's try before you buy - like hearing full tracks on myspace, youtube or the album played out or a friend's copy.
If you weren't gonna buy anyway then the leak does nothing either way but let people make an educated purchase and may create some new fans along the way.
My very first jamiroquai was a cassette tape someone made from the vinyl and I reckon I've bought EOPE about three times over since, not to mention loads of others from the band |

Excellent post! Jamiroquai don't make money selling records. In any case, the leak is bad for Mercury/ Universal.
True fans, bad fans...I'm getting tired of being "entitled". One of the "experts" in this site saw Jamiroquai for the first time in 2006, so what the hell are we talking about???!!!
If Jay sung in Radio: "three's not a crime, I'm a man, I'm a man" I'll change it and say: "leak is alright, I'm a fan, I'm a fan" No good, nor bad.

Could it probably be that the leak happend on purpose? Do record companies do things like that in some cases? I mean, after all the polarisation and slam which the released songs caused... could be a strategic action? Just an idea, but am not sure about it.
Anyways... we are nearly there!! Release in Germany in 4 days!! Yay!! |
