After Jay’s rant his performance wasn’t up to his usual standards. He sang off key a few times and couldn’t hold his notes. Real shame. I don’t think he should have bothered with saying he had reservations about appearing on the show etc. Better to have remained unapologetic and let his comments stand (maybe his record company pressurised him). The staff may have been nice to him, but I’d bet my last penny his opinions haven’t changed one jot. The nation’s talentless ‘sweetheart’ who is never out of the papers received quite a bol******g from Jay. Well, it was a sure-fire way to get headlines and album publicity for Jamiroquai. The vast majority of comments I’ve read about this are in support of Jay. Marketing tactics or not, I’m glad he spoke out about this farcical show.

Yeah. There must have been a huge power drain when the ad-break came on after Jamiroquai as people reached for the remote. |
