Well, it's really difficult to set an "exactly day" in which the band has born. I've heard that Jay & Toby first met during the last days of 1989 but, as they launched their first demo in 1992, we can say that the whole band probably started to play together during the first times of 1992. |

You know, I heard 'so many dates' floating around mentioned in the Jamily from over the years, from when the first 'Acid Jazz Records Era WYGL single/demo was recorded to the recent Nick Van Gelder Nomi Rehearsal/T&C First Jami Gig recordings, but most revolved around I believe early/mid 1992 (Somewhere in the window of Feb.-May 1992) . But I would think everyone in the Jamily could celebrate this important occasion all year, whenever they like, but I do think the band NEED to at least run some kind of 'big shindig', I.E. a BIG party at J's mansion where Jamiroquai should reform, with original bandmembers and perform together one more time...and who will be able to attend this gig? EVERYONE! Cheers!
Sincerely,

More than Nick and Jay, I'd like to see Jay and Toby.
They were the master minds in that early band! And of course Stu!
That rotation McKenzie-Zender-Smith is absolutely awesome! |

Hey, nice topic!
A world wide fans gathering in London?
The band should do a small venue gig at Jazz Cafè, on a saturday night... _________________ I once had a 10 years of Travelling Without Moving celebrations banner here... |

Would logically have to be in or around London, I liked the idea, that's been passing around Jam Party People forum of a big Jamiroquai Anniversary concert at JK's estate . Though, being young fans that they are posting there, they wanted to 'camp out' at J's without his permission, I mean, it's a great idea, we just don't want him to think that all those scores of fans are 'stalkers' . But an Acid Jazz Cafe gig would also be nice & one more thing they need: Guest performers invited in the regards of Winston Rollins, Simon Katz, DJ D-Zire, Nick Fyffe, Toby Smith, Kofi Kari Kari, Stuart Zender & others . It wouldn't be a complete anniversary without 'the old band' back together for one last massive performance, at least to me, . Cheers!
Sincerely,
