Now that I think about it, Dye's artwork of the feather'd Buffalo Man would've been absolutely perfect!! Jay sings about "being lost on the breeze and embracing like beautiful birds" throughout the whole song. The artwork is so simple and to the point just like the actual track itself. Well, at least I was to use Dye's artwork with the track when I uploaded it to my iPod

@ cover:  ... diego was officially the best!, strange administration i'd say.... however i do like the track! kinda more then most of RDLS tracks, this is very peacefull summerlike, an alternative of SDISJ to me

infact it's like an Incognito track from the intro - Centre Of The Sun or something on the 'No Time Like The Future' album
& the closest Jamiroquai track has to be 'Butterfly'
bloody class!!!

haha, you're welcome (I didn't know you could download the image from flickr, anyway, no one will make any money out of it  ).
by the way, It's understandable that Dye erased his designs, since people liked them a lot, plus, they were more "iconic" (the buffalo man with the feathered hat - just great) and people tend to steal those kind of designs and use it everywhere, it has happened before... I would have done the exact same thing if I were him). |

The track is top notch! Very summery feeling. I agree with Meike, (perhaps a bit overwhelmed too, but what the heck...) it's the best song released with the current formation of the band. Smile should've made it to RDLS. But we got it anyway, and perfect timing too... at least for us in the northern hemisphere. Absolutely love the track!
If anybody is interested at all I'm informing you that I will leave my design at Flickr until tomorrow evening. I myself will use Diego's #2.
No disrespect to the winner, I'm happy for him. But I do not care for the design at all. Just not my cuppa...

I understand in some way, but lets not forget you're already playing with a copyrighted material, so there isn't much you can do to with this work (comercially speaking). |

SIT = Stillness in time
That's my absolute favourite one.
And I have a similar feeling while listening to smile - not saying it is a similar song though.. just similar vibes.

Comon people, don't be upset about Dyego art not being chosen. My fav one was Gonza one, a lot more fresher than Dyego's IMHO.
Don't forget this amazing song is about smiling, good times, sun, summer, love, and chilling out, that's maybe why they / he chosen this orange-ish sunny cover.
Anyway, if you're not yet happy with a free released song of that quality and still focus on a digital cover that will never be released in CD, I can't help you anymore. Smile.
