Lenny Kravitz-Black and White America
I can really recommend the great new album by Lenny Kravitz! Most of the tracks are really tight and funky, soul-funk-rock in the old-school way!

Although I like most "rock"-tracks on Jamiroquai's RDLS a lot, but when it comes to genuine funk-rock I think this man is the greatest.

The song "Stand" is quite popular already, but isn't my favourite. I personally like this track allot:

Takes time for the album to grow on you but there are some great tracks on it indeed, my favourites are:

B&W America
Come On And Get It
Rock Star City Light
Superlove
Looking Back On Love (best track of the album)
Life Ain't Never Been Better
Sunflower
Push

Yes indeed, and have you heard "Liquid Jesus" yet? It reminds me so much of Marvin Gayes "Trouble Man".

I totally agree!! Lenny has been a master of it. He meshes the 2 genres brilliantly. Even tho JMQ's door of opportunity is closing fast here in the States. And I have listened to RDLS from begining to end and can't find one song that goes BOOM!. pls let it happen Wink

Wow! I saw that Lenny had a new album out.
Yes "Liquid Jesus" sounds a bit like "Trouble Man" by Marvin Gaye. Very Happy
"Looking back on Love" really is fantastic!

And yes, he's been teaming up with Trombone Shorty! TS one of the greatest musicians out there today! Lenny hits those drums!
But Gotta love Lenny Kravitz! He still got it going on!
One of the best musicians I've seen live.
