The sound engineer... mmmm

Oh by the way, what's up with the funkin site? The news section is not updated that often, there's like 1 or 2 posts every month.
I miss the good old funkin site from 2001.

This wouldn't have been a problem in the 90's, and before that. The thing is, with youtube, you can practically hear and see every one of their shows. WE make them repetitive, not them.

yap, that's true, but it's time to them to realize that too! Razz

your right Dye, back then we just relied on concert reviews, radio, bootlegs, tv and attend the concerts...i don't think being repetitive is bad but currently with today's technology we can record concert performances from our phones, post videos online and having access to watch them online

as Javis mention, we all should get with the times and realize that

also, then again there are some artists and record companies that won't allow concert videos or the artist's image and music to be posted online, especially on youtube and sometimes they even take down the videos that belong to someone who personally recorded it

Is it Alek?

It's taking ages to download!

It just says mp4 so I take it that is a rip from the online broadcast or is it a HD rip or BD even?

[quote="russky"]the reason the audience seem so quiet is that it is a HUGE festival & the crowd are there for all the artists, mainly Stevie. It's more commercial than usual so it's not going to be a 'unique' Jamiroquai experience BUT, it's totally different when you are there. Very Happy

Well , on 2008 in spain the figure was the same , most of the people there went to see Shakira and in the beginning you can notice the audience was quiet too . But the difference that day was that Jamiroquai started With a killing song like the kids and made everybody dance till the end of the show . This time didnt happen that and i felt disappointed with the band . at least they could have played hey floyd or she is a fast persuader instead of depper or cosmic girl . so far the best show of the band in this tour was in zurich .

I just think the sound wasn't well mixed. Percussion and Backing vocals were too loud. I readed many tweets complaining for the low volume on Jay's voice too.

Watched live on YouTube and have to say the sound mixing was possibly the worst I've heard of a Jamiroquai gig. I'm sure it would've been great being there with the atmosphere and everything, but the broadcasters/sound guys didn't capture it at all well. Can't expect things to be perfect at these mega-festivals I guess...

Bootleg SBD
Hi There Jamirofans!

In a way to introduce myself, I bring to share with you the Rock in Rio bootleg captured and converted by me that I just post on my blog. (covers included). I'll try to work on the DVD to upload as soon as possible if anyone's interested, of course!
I'm recording all concerts of the Rock in Rio, and I have already shared some concerts. I'm uploading others. As for me Jamiroquai did really a great show. I've read somewhere, i guess here, that the audience keeps kinda quiet during the concert. I have a different opinion, as the Network TV that broadcasts the festival has faced some loud songs against them in some recent live transmissions, especially foot-ball related (soccer to north-americans) I guess they doesn't want to take risks to broadcast those not-welcome songs in the entire audience's voice singing loud tunes against them, it's just my opinion, but I live around, as My old man used to say "I know the village, I know the cattle that I bath"
On my blog I have other J's bootlegs, not as many as I would like to, because it is not easy to find quality bootlegs of them. At least I didn't find in the past.
