Anyone still wondering which of the two DVDs to download (Bootsalive or Dimeadozen), I would go with Bootsalive's version. The picture is progressive scan and looks better than the one off Dime. Notice the moire effect on Paul's strings in the Dime version? It's pretty noticeable when it's playing too.
It's just a shame it seems they broadcast it in this crappy letterbox format. I have no idea why they would do that unless it was also going out as an analogue signal or something...
Bootslive
Dimadozen
The other source for the full gig is still the Demonoid torrent which is a single MPG file and at 3.26 gig is a bit bigger than these two DVD versions, so it'll be interesting to see what that looks like. It's stuck at around 46% at the moment though. _________________

Just watched the download from the messages above and although it looks great in HD, only Stevie gets the full 2 hour set in the file. The rest is edited highlights from the other artists - Jamiroquai gets about 20mins (4 tracks - RDLS, CG, HT & WKR). It's a lot of downloading for just 20 minutes...

I've taken out the four Jamiroquai tracks from the Hi Def version if anyone wants it:

No problem Javis. Did you notice how the TV guys 'shortened' some of the tracks? It's kinda noticeable... and a little bit shit.

Not yet - the seeder is still the only one with the whole thing right now (everyone else is at about 74%). The same seeders RHCP video from Rock in Rio is not awesome though, so I'm not really expecting it to be better than the Bootslive one. _________________
