Hey, lovely people, dear friends, my Jamily!! 
I can't believe how time flies... today it's been 10 years ago, since I opened the doors to this forum.
I have had such a good time here with all of you... discussions with so many different people from all corners of this planet home, so many individual souls with the same passion. It's an honour to have even met so many of you in person at diverse gigs and meetings.
Wonderful memories I could share with you all here. I also enjoyed all your great concert reviews in all these years - it made the whole jamiroquai experiences so more special, because often it felt as if I was there, when reading your reviews, watching your photos and listening synchronized with the jamily to live gigs! Very special moments, I do remember.
Jamiroquai gigs became even better, because it was not just the gig itself, but also the great opportunity to party along with friends in the front row, to share afterwards our experiences here in the forum... it's all been a very exiting time, thanks to this great community.
Jamirotalk also gave the opportunity to bring the band and the fans a bit closer together - the interviews were a good start, some bandmembers even posted messages here and then. Isn't this great?
10 years are a long time - we started with a handfull of fans, new people came, some were leaving, some of the very early members are still here.
It's a bit sad, that this anniversary comes in a very silent period - not so many things to discuss at the moment.
But I am optimistic, that we will have busier times here again, when there are more news about jamiroquai - maybe news about a new album or tour...?!
I am sending you all a big THANK YOU! Everyone of you made these 10 years very special and unique! I am happy to be part of this great community, and a little bit proud that we are still here, after one decade!
Stay funky, come back here and then and share your thoughts!

I've been here for almost 9 years, and the site has been a big part of my life, not just because of the band (the main and principal reason of why we are all here), but also because I got a virtual relationship with a lot of you.
Exchanging opinions, pictures, experencies, it just awesome, and not many people in the world who enjoy music can have this type of, how can I put this,... extra ingredient of meeting people who enjoy the same things.
I know a lot of people here have become friends, even see each other on a regular basis. It happened to me too, although in a much smaller scale.
But that doesn't diminish the fact that this has become a great place to hang out.

Little c, that's amazing! You are here since day ONE!!
I am a bit sad that I didn't prepare anything to celebrate this anniversary, but I am very busy with other things, and time was flying so fast that I didn't have a chance to do what I had on my list for this site.. 
Meanwhile lots of things, discussions and sharing happens over at facebook where most of us have an account. Maybe the time for this kind of forum are over...? 
Maybe we need new concepts? Or maybe we just need NEWS to discuss? 
Anyways, I think it would be cool to collect some of your personal highlights in 10 years of Jamirotalk. I will think about mine and post them later!
I am curious, what you remember from this past decade!

Hello Meike,
my first remember is the news i read on Funkin site 10 years ago... a new forum is born : Jamirotalk.
I was already a member on the french forum ( Frenchiroquai), but i needed to open my "eyes and my ears" , talk with other peoples ,!
My best moment
I liked to meet all the group during the Le Mans gig in 2003..., talk with Jay and Sola... Matt was just a new member in the group. We talked abour the first commercial DVD in verona... What a great night.
After i met Tiago and Frederico from Portugal ( other members of this forum)
We went to the summer festival together in 2005! Souvenirs forever ...
The worst moment :
when there is no news on the forum or on Funkin site....
So keep this Forum working, that gives me 5 minutes of hapiness each time i came in !

this site is one of the greatest things on internet. since 10 years now, more active or more inactive, this forum is always been a place for sharing good vibes, love and passion, not only about jamiroquai or music. felt you as friends since day one, a real jamily!

How time flies by already 10yrs. A big big big hug to our Cosmic Mum who gave birth to jamirotalk. I stick since 9yrs here and this is my second home.
Meike I raise my glass and prosit auf weitere 10 jahre. 
And not to forget thru this site I did meet all the people from far and near we had good times during and after the gigs. Love you all |

Well, what can I say? As for me, this forum is part of my life. Here I could learn a lot, met great people and felt the good vibes across the digital world.
During this era of Facebook and other social networks it's amazing how this forum is still working with the same good spirit.

I'm very thankful to this forum and the people who maintains it.
Jamirotalk became since 2006 my daily friend, without it, to be a Jamiroquai fan wouldn't be the same.
I still remember the firsts days when I could hardly write in english, but I was amazed by the knowledge about the band I got access to.
You people are awesome, I love to read the concert reviews you guys write, to share bootlegs and news with you and, mostly of all, to be a part of this special place, which is, easily, the best place a Jamiroquai fan could be. |

I just want to say happy birthday to Jamirotalk and thanks to all the fans who have supported the band over the years.
Funnily enough, I have been in the band almost 10 years as well, I joined in 2002 and it's been an amazing journey.

thanks for stopping by to say hello! 
... and yeah, 2002 way the year you joined the band, indeed!! I remember, that I was so lucky to see your first gig live with jamiroquai!! It was the Homecoming gig in Ealing, wasn't it? 15th May 2002... I was so lucky to get a spare ticket from Bine (another fan) who had won 2 tickets for this special intimate gig!
Here is a pic of you I made, while giving autographs!
What a night! Very great gig!
