buffaloman_R Hello again, buffaloman_R

Woop Woop! Just spotted a new sales listing for Jamiroquai's stateside release of 'Rock Dust Light Star' on the Target website, but it initally says it will only be available for 'online purchase' only. Let's hope it's just a mistake and will be available in store starting April 24th, here's the sales listing at Target's website...Cheers! :

Sincerely,

It is also listed for a $9.99 Pre-Order on iTunes.

I hope this isn't the beginning of the end...

I'm wondering the same. Will it be possible to order the vinyl from today somewhere online?

I wonder if this will be a commercial single (do they exist anymore?) or only a DJ promo?

Beginning of the end? How do you figure? It is a decent sign that they're getting iTunes preorder treatment. Dynamite blew up on the iTunes album charts (way back when), so let's see what happens.

From our friend Darshan (@JamiroUSA) on Twitter:

I think it will be commercial single, as pretty much all stateside single promos have been in the past. Though I wish they had gone with putting 'Two Completely Different Things' for a first single promo treatment for the states initially, would make for some interesting remixes/mixes, especially if they could re-hook up with M-Beat, this song would be perfect for him to contribute. On the new sales listing front for RDLS, nothing from WalMart's site yet, still will try to buy this on Record Store Day, really want the double LP, I might also impart some greenback for the CD Release too (just as long as Target gets the darn album early week!). Cheers!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

it looks like they change the disco floor to a blue/violet color

WKR isn't really a fan favorite but its good enough to be played at clubs and a way to promote RDLS album here in the states

i think there is a very likely chance they will tour north america...just last night i had a weird dream that they did a gig in las vegas (even though dreams don't really predict the future but this and updates on RDLS in america still gives me hope Wink)

this is slightly off topic: if RDLS was released in 1980s i could actually picture S&M, AGITH or angeline being hits unlike today

Hey, you never really know what's gonna make it, but these songs are pretty damn cool! I'd love to see them take over the stations!

And yes, some of us are having dreams too of them in the States too!

As for the Seamus mix of "White Knuckle Ride" - I think I'd bee dizzy from all the versions! Wink
