October 19th 1992...
Yes, it passed unnoticed, but, yesterday, 20 years ago, October 19th 1992, Acid Jazz Records released the first single of a young band that was starting to make a buzz...
Thank you Jamiroquai for 20 years of incredible vibes, musical journeys and outstanding live performances...
(and thanks to Alex from the French forums for reminding me!) |

I was only 6 when Jamiroquai released their first single.. I can't help but feel I missed out on some of the best years of music and gigs from them, but I found my way eventually!
Congratulations! _________________ May the wind always be at your back, and the sun upon your face...

Dug this out of my collection the other day..Thought it was a white label promo, but is actually a test pressing...Includes a type note from the label telling DJs to give it plenty of airplay.. |

A Fantastic Band has started
...I was 14 years old then...
And the first Jamiroquai clip I have ever seen was the : Too young to die
I was watching every day the European Music TV...that was a "European top 20"
with Pip Dann and JAmiroquai were famous. |
