Sorry to be petty here, but as much as I would like to flog a dead dog JF2K, instead of dead horse the adage is indicated to be equine other than canine. Flog 'em all, the probably deserve and we need a vent for our album-release-dated-related-stress (ARDRS My God it's now a recognized psychiatric diagnosis !!!)
Look at all the time, energy and whining we have been doing over this subject and all it took was one logic step from Meike. Thank you.
I didn't like the bit about 'profound changes to wrestle with' followed by 'seeing the light at the end of the tunnel'. I hope that the second part is in reference to completion of the 6th Album and not the destiny of Jamiroquai as a band.
Patient viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiibes to Meike et al.

I'm not too happy for that... cos we hav to wait too much for the album... but if it means a good album... well... we hav to support the waiting...
The only good thing is that in March is my 18th birthday!!! March 2nd... heheheheh, nice gift for my birthday if the album will be released in March 2nd... heheheh nice imagination...

Thanks Meike for mailing Sola. You said it well. And I want to thank Sola for answering. This is a class action! It's always nice to hear something 'official' from the band or a bandmember.
What I think (maybe it fits better in 'theories of the 6th album delays') is that the band first recorded the album with Alex Meadows, but that Jay (and the band, and Sony) weren't satisfied with the result and now that they are re-recording the album.
Let's wait and hope that the new album will be as good as Sola says. |

 Hello again,
 Congrats on your e-mail answers from Sola Mouse, FRA, & EvoV ! That is interesting that they are still looking for a bassist, I thought Alex Meadows did a good job on "Black Devil Car" sample! Oh well, I'm sure they will find another great bassist soon that will continue to progress the bass horizons of Jamiroquai's sound. I really think it is so nice that Sola answers nearly all his e-mail inquiries, he probably even answers the spam e-mails he gets with the same simple reply, "I'm large enough, so bugger off!"....Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!  I can't wait to have Sola join us here on JamiroTalk.net, you could get a interview with him Mouse ! Thanks for listening, major props to Sola for the great info updates and the great inquiries by FRA, EvoV & Mouse ! Peace!

Well, after sending Sola my first mail (really diplomatic and with no .......emotion........!!!! - then i'm going to explain u why - ), i 've written a second, more full of good sentiments and LOVE for JMQ, but he have not replied to it!!!! Ah ah ah !!!! My first one's been "structured" in that way 'cos I was really really sceptical about a Sola answer, but i made myself in a big big error!!!! So, i hope he again answers me......what i asked him needs a reply as soon as possible!!!!!

Hello Jamirotalkers,
I don't think is the end of the world, of course, but is not that important if we send different emails to Sola, the worst thing that could happen is to have his email box full! What I am trying to say is that with all this emails he (and eventually 'they') has an idea of what fans feel about the band and that we care the direction of Jamiroquai.
I am sure that he will understand our concerning and if he doesn't answer is because he's busy, and not something else.
My thoughts.

yes wesaft, you´re right. Don´t overflood Sola´s computer: he´ll get tired adn won´t read any e-mails nevermore. he´s very kind of answering some of them, but just becouse you send him 5 e-mails hes not gonna answer you faster.
by the way: by the time Rob got fired, I could have learnt to play the bass so I could play it in the next album. The problems Jamiroquai is having with the new album do not happpen to any other big band. Sony has loads of great artist signed, so we should find anyone else in order to blame for the delate... |
