Any idea if they will release them on Argentina and when?
thanks! |
I would guess, based that they are waiting a month in the Japanese releases (April 2013) of the remaster sets, I would guess it's in the cards for a addition sometime in the coming months. I won't predict a date, but being South America, it should be too far off from a wider release in late Spring. You can always order them from Amazon.com if you can't wait for a proper release. Cheers!
Sincerely,

I've received friday my copies of these remasters : the sound is fresh and sharp : it's a pleasure ! The notes from Jay are very surprising (I don't want to spoil it!)
Is there a mistake about Stillness In Time on CD1 and CD2 : it's the same duration 04'15 (but it's supposed and edited version on CD2, never mind !)
Only album tracks are remastered, not the bonus.
Enjoy !
Take them from amazon it's really bargain ! _________________ "People find it's hard to be strong, cos' they don't know where they're coming from" |

Quick impressions: the remastered albums are awesome.
Funny to note: Some of the songs seem to had had the channels flipped (Stereo), but maybe that is just the product of how bad the original mix happened to be and now things are opened up a lil bit.
Listening to "Just Another Story" and you can definitely hear that the channels have been reversed at the start. The original recording had the synth on the left, but it is very much on the right during the intro. Interesting.

I wish you would spoil it. I'm on a tight budget right now and have to allocate for other things! |

I think I never realized this, but during Slipin N Slidin you can actually hear Jay singing the lyrics way in the back.
0:48-0:52 you can clearly hear "see I thought I had it all, now I find I'm ten feet small".
I knew you could hear him in Bullet, but this is the very first time I hear this. |

Your probably looking at the 'old prices' that Best Buy had originally listed for the Japanese versions of the remasters that were supposed to come out back in Oct. 2012 but were cancelled. I went to my local Best Buy on the U.S. release date, and lucky enough they had stock of the American releases of the remasters, list priced art $24.99 a piece, which is a very reasonable price especially for remastered reissues. But I had already made arrangements for a friend in the UK to get them for me and parcel them to me, but from what I saw firsthand, they looked awesome, packaging was hot looking and the tracklistings were solid. If you like, when I get all my remasters in the post, I'll take pictures of all every page of the linear notes in each set and post them on my Facebook photos section, I'll let you all know when I'm done. Cheers!
Sincerely,

Really? I can't hear anything! Is this Slipin N Slidin from the new releases or the CG single? _________________

You're right - there are definitely lyrics behind it you don't hear at all in the original one. I noticed the new liner notes also have the lyrics printed too... Too bad they didn't turn up that vocal track. Would have made that second disc a whole lot better. _________________

I could always hear it from the single. Wish they'd released it with studio lyrics like they did live. _________________ "...200 miles per hour and still movin'..." |

You're right, it is there in the one from the single - mustn't have had it turned up loud enough...
Lyrics for that and Bullet would've been a dream! _________________
