March release - coincidence?
Hey all, was just thinking - in september Jay lost his license for 6 months - which, co-incidentaly...comes to March of next year...any thoughts? Perhaps this could be Jay deciding he must have his license for the release/touring (??) or perhaps something to do with releasing Black Devil Car....? _________________ Have to get UP to get DOWN

Uff, still all this time for the next album. May be we have to get together in front of the Jay Kay's manor, ring at the door and ask him what he's potting.
Hey Mr Kay, why all fans have to wait so long time
Is it bearing with your drive license

Actually I doubt that theory. When would Jay really really really need his drivers licence to do anything for the album(promotion)? It's thát important. Even if he wanted to make a videoclip where he'd drive a car, they'd make an exception for this, or Jay just wouldnt care about the courts punishment... |

If you read the words of Sola, i don't think this is a reasonable theory. I still think it has something to do with the problems with the bassist. |

Hello Jamirotalkers,
Yes I thought that theory too. But I really think, like LLCoolJR said, they might have problems with the band, they don't have a bassist yet (I still wonder how they recorded the album ), so that can affect the tour or something. I don't know, we have been making theories for a year now, I'm tired.......

Hello,
That is a interesting coincidence and theory Dr. Phunk, but I don't think it is true . Though, it would be interesting to see JK drive up to the Virgin Megastore for the first time, showing off his driving license, signing autographs and handing out free "Black Devil Car" Singles as a early promotions idea for the 6th album or merely the 1st single. But I expect we'll be throwing around more theories for the next few months of this variety. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
P.S. Great new banner Catman, I went to a sneak preview of "Team America" this past weekend, and it was as funny as someone camping out at their local store till March 2005 for the new Jamiroquai ! _________________

funny theory.
i cant understand whats taking so long. black devil car sounded close to finished on the clip that surfaced earlier this year, and we all know that the band is in the states working on it now. its bonkers to believe that producing an album takes more than half a year!!! |
