I keep checking for charting for the Automaton single...its charted here in the U.S. under Hot Dance/Electronic Songs...and a few other places here and there...but nothing in the UK...?
Anyone know/have a reason? Just wondering...
I tried reading through this thread. Some others have asked but I couldn't find an actual reason why not. |

I am sure will be nice, i miss music videos with cars, now all the videos are just dancing people

It seems to have had very little radio play so far in the UK, which I suspect is the main reason. The video has been quite successful, I think it was trending at #4 or thereabouts on youtube shortly after its release. Interesting to see how the album charts... |

They were just filming it a couple of days ago, how come they finished it so fast?
There were two videos shot, unless that second one was for a third unknown single? I'm very confused by all of this to be honest. |

A third unknown single, or... two different videos or edits may have been made for Automaton and Jay was showing them to his friends to get their opinion on which one to go for?
My bet is on a third single.

I will never understand Stu, one day he hates everything Jamiroquai and Jay Kay related, and now this? |
I suppose since it's been quite a few years (nearly 20?) since Stu left the band, he's had plenty of time to think back and reminisce. I'm sure he really does miss playing with Jay but of course times of changed. Would be downright amazing if the band featured Zender on a track at some point. Hell, he and Paul Turner can jam out together or something on a track for all I care. I doubt Jay and Stu have kept bad blood for this long but who knows? It has always seemed like Stu talks about Jamiroquai way more than the band ever mentions Stu. I say they get back together and give the fans a little bit of Symphonized lol, but that's for another topic.

They could potentially work together on something, I just don't see it being Jamiroquai. |

Today the boys start rehearsing. Curious to hear how Automaton will sound live.
Oh and also: I hope they skip Deeper Underground. Can't stand it anymore.
Variations on the setlist will be very appreciated! |
