a.a.e.'s montreux review
:sun:
:firejump: wa-hey, my feet hurt...!!! this can only mean i've been shakin' me ass off... (and i've been wearing too high heels again). the performance of the band was at top level!!! they played absolutely perfect and seemed to enjoy it very much. it was a pure, relaxed and groovy show. sola told me they've been watching the video of the first j'quai montreux gig (1993) at claude nobs's the night before and got really inspired by it. sola told me? yes, sola told me... i went to the harry's bar where the aftershow took place, had a beer or two (three, four, hell i was pissed in the end... lol) with the guys. and wa-hey, i guess they played one hour or even more at the bar!! so the only bad thing to report is the fact that - as foreseen - the audience sucked. it was very swiss indeed: there were ppl in the front row standing around as if being streetlamps, not even moving their feet!!!! uffcourse there were a lot of ppl dancing, but there was no dancing "together", no "together"-atmosphere (kno wot i mean??). oh, there is a second bad thing to report: i'm a bit hangover today.... last but not least: hello to those who have been there; buffle: it was very nice to meet u, hope to see u again some day! erica: hope u're fine again, say hello to yer friends, too! and schmilgeli: i hoped u would recognize me and say hello, but obviously u didn't... hopefully next time! |

Hey everybody - especially the band!
just got home from Montreux this morning, I think you might get very jealous now, but I was there, the concert was a blast, and after the concert the played in the hotelbar where the stayed untill 3.30 in the morning - playing "Space Cowboy" was the best, they played some non-Jamiroquai songs too. Jay was really in a good mood, Rob was smiling all the time, and I and everybody else were sweating like animals. On my way home I was listening to a Jamiroquai tape twice and now another CD is on my computer I think I?m addicted to their music. But it makes me so happy to listen to them and the music never sucks even if I have an overdose....
Love you animals(the band) Buffle |
