Stevie Wonder seldom used a bassist on his classic albums, worked out alright for him, I'd say.

Come on Funk Education. Be honest, for how long have we waited till now? It's too long! I think if Jamiroquai was a little bit more energetic, a very good (maybe brilliant) album could be in stores now!

I just wanted to say taht Emergency On Planet Earth was written in about 2 weeks (they were almost living on the studio) and it´s one of the best albums. Syncronized was written in some months and it´s ok too. It´s no matter of time, they´re getting very lazy

true, but listen to all 5 albums by Jamiroquai, they all have classic bass riffs which are both challenging and fun to play.

cmon guys lets be reasonable...who here is really in any position to judge how long it should take for a band to produce a record...unless someone here is in the recording industry then it's unfair to lash out at Jamiroquai

as we all know Jamiroquai have been touring wide and far in the last couple of years...plus the recent problems with finding a bass player...it's entirely feasible that they could be taking this amount of time...remember when they re-recorded major portions of Synkronised because of the switch from Stu to Nick?

lets all just be fair and wait!

i think that everyone can judge, because you can look other artists making albums every two years and its not damaging the quality of the album..
its too loooong...4 years
i persume that they are mixing it to much becasuse if the album is not inspired and written in a breath its crappy.. Crying or Very sad
