UK Chart Entry Positions...
Quick question....why is it that the last two singles have had somewhat disappointing positions in the UK Chart? (I think LF entered at 14 and COTE at 31).
I know the hardcore Jami fan buys anything that comes out, but what about the general public? Were these two tracks not attractive enough?
What does everyone else think

When I heard Love Fool will would be the next single I thought this single could make it into the top 5 again. when I saw the video I was sure it wouldn't do the top 5, but at least top 10!
And corner of the earth had a good video, but was not even in the top 30 
I think the two tracks were attractive, but there was almost no publicity for them.
COTE was also difficult, cause it was a slow song. and at this moment everyone is on dance songs. (like the Main Vein remixes!?)

Internet, Martin? i don´t understand.... what´s the problem with internet and Jamies songs....
well, i think one part of the "problem" is, that Jamiroquai´s music isn´´t music for 13 or 14 year old teenies...who buy the most cd´s , isn´t it?
but i think cote will get a higher chartpositon than lf, ´cose of that fantastic video...
it´s just indescribable ggggggrrrrrreeeeeaaaaaattttt

cote did already release in the charts. and was not in the top 30. happened last in 1993!
internet: because everyone can download the songs and remixes from there. you don't need to buy the CD, when you already have the songs! |
