Hallo darlings,
Firstly I would like to congratulate all of you non-native speaking/writing English persons on the impeccable standard of English that is used. I can tell you quiet safely that there is a considerable percentage of British/Native English Speaking/(Writing - ) population who cannot manage one sentence written as well as many of you can. You all deserve commendation for your English Language skills.
Actually, (and for a British person - ROFLMAO) I have to say that I am amazed just how good the standard of English is . . . you lot keep me on my toes (attentive)!!!
Secondly, the racism thingy !!! I don't want to enter any type of debate here, I just would like to make a statement about the general make-up of 99.99999999999999% of all Jamiroquai fans; and that is: It would be almost impossible for anyone who LOVES/Enjoys Jamiroquai to be a racist because the philosophy of Jamiroquaism denounces and disgraces racism. I could write you volumes on racism and it's quirks and cruelity. I have been a victim of racial physical, racial verbal and racial 'political' abuse for twenty years !!!
And foreign languages . . . I agree that if and when they are used, they should be thread identified as being specific to one language. And I appreciate how lucky I am by being a native to speaker to enjoy the ease of the English Language being the medium.
I myself have only one other language, which is Arabic (Classical Penninsula), I have replaced it to be my mother tounge. One thing I have found is that posting on this site (and other Jamiroquai sites) is that it improves my English and has taught me BETTER how to communicate with non-native English speakers - or at least I hope so.
Occasionally I throw in the odd thread in Arabic, not a lot though . . . and here is the stupid and sadly ironic part . . . nobody has ever answered/posted on the Arabic threads. I believe there are some Jamily members who should be Arabic speakers according to their names however I fear that because they are resident outside of the Arabic world that they may not speak/read the Arabic language.
. . . and then there is Jamirolingo!!! Funkyou very much Buffalopeople !!!
. . . and what do you mean - Racist ??? We are all green and brown aren't we ???
Love you all (sincerely),
Little hAYTCh. |
