Music you ABSOLUTELY HATE!!!
hiya fellow funksters.
i was wondering: seeing that all of us seem to talk about music you/we like, what is some music you HATE?
my choice: all new r&b (enter chingy, usher, snoop dogg, destiny's child, alicia keys), "gangsta rap" (enter 50 cent, crap rappers who think they are pimps)
not to be racist, but this seems to be pumped out by afro-americans. and it sounds crap. CRAP. CRAP.
what music do you hate?
PS: don't start with "you are racist" crap FunkEducation. i enjoy lots of funk/soul music from afro-americans (ew&f, the commodores, george benson), so don't start. |

I hate gangsta rap (but like Will Smith and some Ja Rule)
not crazy about country music either

i dont like country brrrrrrrrrr haha kmackdaddy i look at ur aviator u look like a country western star just need the cowboy hat  yeah the hip hop rap scene sucks im not racist i think african american rap is better then wanna be african american rap haha will smith is pretty cool i do like most of his songs he doesnt like swear every three seconds or like talk bout smoking weed and killing peeps peace out

I pretty much agree with PietroChocko on this one. He's summed it up for me. The only thing I would add is the UK pop shit bands like Busted, MCfly and Blue... you know the type I mean. F'n hate them... and they play them on the radio soooo much. Can't stand it.

Basically, I am not fond of ANY band formed in the last 5 years or so...
I just can't help myself tuning OFF the radio as soon as i hear shitney spears or any otyher generic pop artist...
Music sux these days...Thank god for Jazz, Classic Rock and of course, Jamiroquai...
P.S:Rap sux...BAD

Hello Jamirotalkers,
To be honest, there are a few newbie bands that I like (Coldplay, Scissor Sisters), but lately there are no big bands around. The hip/hop-rap scene is pretty much everywhere. The only song I did enjoy of this genre was 'Without Me' by Eminem... it was very contagious. But that was it. I don't like this music, but if I hear it on the radio is ok by me.
What I definetely don't like is heavy metal, bands with singers shouting and making noise, not music. That's something I don't understand.

Music I hate....well, for me, it's not about the music, it's about getting overplayed. The first week or so, it's alright, but after that, it gets so annoying to me. And thanks to that and my local top-40 station, 92 PRO-FM, I hate:
Ashlee and Jessica Simpson
Simple Plan
JoJo
Ryan Cabrera
Britney Spears
Christina Aguilera
....and that's just for starters....
Of course, my sister loves this stuff, but at least she listens to hip-hop to balance it out-on the Boston station that plays Usher ten times an hour or so. Why does American radio have to suck so much?

I can tell you why Supersonic: There are 5 suspects
1) Clear Channel
2) MTV/VH1
3) Infinity Broadcasting
4) Disney/ ABC Radio
5) Giant Record Companies who throw endless amounts of promo money to these radio companies.
Im afraid to crap on Clear Channel too much, because if Jamiroquai does tour the U.S., it's seriously 70/30 that Clear Channel will be the concert p-romoter. THEY PROMOTE ALMOST EVERY MAJOR CONCERT ACT IN THE U.S.
