Being with the newspaper here at my college has its perks....
I want to write about sports, but since everything's filled, I'm writing entertainment. Recently, I got to interview the director and producer of The Incredibles about the film. They were pretty funny, I can see where the humor in the movie comes from. Wouldn't be surprised if it grabs a nomination for Best Picture at the Oscars.... _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Two Towers= 208min 3 hours 46 min
Return of the King= 250min 4 hours 16 min

Superhero movies update!
Hello there!
OK Cheeeba Lover, give it a try!
This are the movies I've watched lately:
-'ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND' with Jim Carrey, Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Wilkinson, Elijah Wood ***1/2
-'THE LADYKILLERS' with Tom Hanks, Marlon Wayans, JK Simmons ***
-'MY BOSS'S DAUGHTER' with Ashton Kutcher, Tara Reid **
---And here's a little update on how superhero movies are coming:
'Superman' is on it's way with Brian Synger (X Men & X2) directing it; 'Spider Man 3'; 'The Flash' by David S. Goyer (who recently directed 'Blade: Trinity'; on June/ July next year comes 'Fantastic Four' directed by Tim Story; 'Elektra' is about to be released too; 'Ghost Rider' and 'Iron Man' are on its way, and 'Namor The Sub Mariner' (first Marvel superhero) will be directed by Chris Columbus (first 2 Harry Potters); 'Batman Begins' has the trailers now online (and is not Batman 5, it starts from the beginning again). Possibles X-Men spin-off's like 'Magneto', 'Wolverine', and for 2006 'X Men 3'. And there've been rumours about a possible 'Wonder Woman' movie too. 'Punisher 2' is still in the works, but Thomas Jane talked about it and the movie is going to be made.

Ladykillers!
I still haven't seen the movie but as soon I get some extra money I'll buy the dvd for sure!
Besides Jamiroquai, I'm a big fan of the Coen brothers (I mean their movies). The abstract atmosphere and the amazing personalities of Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, Fargo, O Brother Where Art Thou and The Man Who Wasn't There are just great.
Nothing more to say. _________________ Curiosity killed the cat, but for a while I was a suspect. |
