oh Morning Glory- did you know?
maybe I'm the only one who didn't know what the "morning glory" was.
now i know that it's:
MORNING GLORY
FAMILY : Convolvulaceae
GENUS / SPECIES : Ipomoea violacea (Morning Glory)
Turbina/Rivea corymbosa (Ololiuqui)
COMMON NAMES :
Morning Glory, Heavenly Blue Morning Glory,
IDENTIFICATION :
The primary LSA containing Morning Glories all belong to the species Ipomoea violacea (also called Ipomoea tricolor or Ipomoea rubro-caerulea). Within this species, the 4 varieties known to contain LSA are "Heavenly Blue", "Pearly Gates", "Flying Saucers", and "Blue Star". Other varieties may also contain LSA, though generally in quantities too low to be useful as a psychoactive.
RANGE :
Mountains of Southern Mexico, Guatamala, West Indies, & Tropical South America. Now grown around the world, favoring tropical warm temperate climates.
USES :
Traditionally used in divination. The seeds of some varieties contain LSA and can cause visual and perceptual effects similar to LSD. LSA containing varieties include Heavenly Blue, Flying Saucers, and Pearly Gates.
Well, why I'm not surprised? |

I know this makes me sound stupid, but I thought that this song was some 'morning-after' ballad....I should have known it was about drugs....those Jamiroquai boys sure are rascals, aren't they?
Anyways, thanks whoopiee. Educational and entertaining. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does.
