This has to count as the weirdest Jamiroquai poll to hit JamiroTalk in a while. I do agree Jay Kay is hot in the female point of the view, but as a guy, it hard to say, he's a normal guy. Well, in any sense, he must have the most powerful male pheromones in existance, cause when the babes are near him, he's like the ONLY alpha male gorilla in the jungle, gettin' all the girls! I think the attraction stems more from JK's talent and fascinating personality than from his features.

i have to admit, his looks weren't the reason at all for me initially liking the band... it was the moves, baby, the moves... that video premiere of canned heat started it all. that's what makes him sexy. he can have the most butt-ugliest face society has ever condemned and he'd still be a groupie god.
it was only after going out to buy my first jami album, synkronized... flipping to the middle of the cd booklet. i was like... 'Hmmm, yeah, he's not bad...'
but it took a while, after seeing countless images of him over the net and elsewhere, before i eventally went back to the booklet, opened to the middle and gave in to those those piercing eyes and that POUT...
his attractiveness really grows on you... it's just so unconventional. rugged yet cheeky, dark yet adorable, aggressive yet dashing... how DOES he do that? |

hehehe... trust me, it took a while for me to get all those words together... 
he's got the looks but he's definitely not sexy in all areas. like what meike said, he's a pothead who's occasionally a dickhead and swears excessively... i don't find that attractive at all. pity 
what really masks that up is the way he holds himself. and that's an extremely important trait to have in the showbiz... if you have charisma, you have it all.

As a "queer" myself, I had to vote yes. I agree with you mostly, davina. It's his moves that are the best. Then everything else kind of grows on you.
