well catman, four months is a very long time to me. i guess i should have worded what i said differently...we had a massive power outage in Indiana,U.S. and we did not have power for a very long time so even if it was not a long time it sure felt like a long time! _________________ ISAAC LIGHTFOOT

Hi Jamirotolkers!
My name is Ura, I'm from Moskow (Russia). I'm 19 years old.
I the student of the Moscow Automobile - road Institute. At leisure basically I idle, I try to learn to do tricks on a skateboard, I save money for the big stereo-headphones, and I try to write hokku =))))
Your forum - simply a fantasy!
I seldom met on the Internet something similar.
I badly know the English language, but all themes at your forum to me are very interesting. All latest news (and very interesting comments to them) easy to find at you.
I have become interested in group Jamiroqui after for the first time have seen on MTV a clip " The return of the space cowboy ". Though it pathosly sounds, but this "meeting" - has turned my life. =))) Then I have understood, that it " my music ". And till now I speak all, that "Jamiroquai" - music of my soul.
Happy New Year all of you! (in Russian it sounds as " S NOVIM GODOM! ")
And success in new year! =))) |

Hmm, why not...
Alrighty, some of you guys might recognize my name from the old #jamiroquai channel on undernet, seems like ages ago... I'm gonna copy the bio from my website, I'm lazy.
Name: Jason Wallace
Birthday: Sept. 17, 1977 (virgo)
Born: Pueblo, CO
Current Locale: Las Vegas, Nevada
Loves: my wife tammy & my family, my little girl julia (she's hairy as hell and walks on all fours, but she's my daughter just the same), jamiroquai, porsche, pizza, red bull, starbucks vanilla lattes (five pumps!), new shoes and clothes, hdtv, high speed internet, making people laugh, making a lasting impression, questioning the norm, influencing change, expensive car audio, people who drive exotic cars like they're meant to be driven
Hates: people who are afraid to hit the gas, cockiness, insincerity, settling for less, telephones, telemarketers, waking up to the phone ringing, inconsiderate or uncaring dog owners, parking lot speed demons, bratty kids, cold fries, vegetables, insects, wrinkled clothing, computer problems, data loss, inconsistency, people who flake out, humidity, inability to admit wrongdoing
Hobbies: listening to and collecting music, web design & computer graphics, car audio, web-boards, watching tv (i'm a professional), gadgetry, digital photography
Fav Movies: snatch, pulp fiction, lock stock & two smoking barrels, donnie darko, the boondock saints, office space, ocean's eleven, fight club
Music: jamiroquai, radiohead, 311, incubus, jurassic 5, tre hardson, björk, ferry corsten, sander kleinenberg, erick morillo, jay j, miguel migs, etc...
Aspirations: to stop worrying about the things i don't have and enjoy the things i do, to appreciate myself a little bit more, to have a day where i don't have to think about anything at all
I maintain (and I use the term loosely) my own personal website, which is in dire need of a redesign. Fortunately I've started coming up with new design ideas and I look forward to coming out with something new and fresh.
I haven't bothered to get a pic of myself in a long while, so here's one I took just for you guys.
After a long hiatus from the Jamiroquai community, I look forward to being an active member here, and on the hub. |

I don't remember if I introduced myself before but I've been hiding in the shadows. Hadn't felt like putting anything into the board since I hadn't felt like I had much to say. But I've been a Jamioquai fan since I saw the Alright video back in 96/97 at a Target store and it just completely sucked me in.
I'm a part time hobby bass player on a Carvin LB70 bass. I post every so often on the SZ board since I'm mostly a SZ fan. But Jamiroquai has definately shaped my musical interests into the solid funk/acid jazz/jazz sound I try to find everywhere. It's nice to see a place like this where we can feel the good vibes that is Jamiroquai. |

Hello! some of you guys might have already seen me post a couple of times. My name is Jen and im 24...im almost halfway to 30. AAAH! time flys. I was born in the U.S. but my family is from ta da ta da drumroll: El Salvador.. I bet im the only Salvadoran/U.S. jamiroqaui fan here!
Anywayz yes Im an on and off uni student I will finsh soon though. On my chill /off time I like going online and chatting/posting with jamiro fans like you guys or chatting with crazy dems/repukes online. I love listening to music and singing along to it . Right now I generally like everything I hear but I mostly enjoy listening to Jamiroquai stuff or Im sure some of you guys have heard it, reggaeton. It isn't Friday without reggaeton. My family claims I listen to too much music . I also like reading whatever but mostly if it related to sociology/political concepts. And every once and a while I like going to the clubs ...rarely though either for lack of money or because I just don't feel like it but yes its fun when the djs play good music.. if not its just no fun for me.
I have been a Jamiroquai fan since seeing the space cowboy video . I didn't always keep up with it though because their style was different to what I listened to when I was younger. I revived my interest in their music several times but just recently Ive attempted this again and this time I have really sticked to it because of J. Talk and jamirotalk thankyou! But like jamirotalk member Rick Casey said earlier, ever since Ive came here and at J.Talk Ive felt like this is "my music". phew! that was long-winded ! took forever. |
