Why would the album title have a link with the movie "Napoleon Dynamite"? |

Ive heard from members (not seen), that at some point in the movie Jamiroquai's 'canned heat' was played. |

With all respect to Jamiroquai, the Fans and Sony, I couldn't care less what the name of the next album is, sounds like, or whatever.
All I care about is the content. And somewhere down the line the artwork and the the deco-theme of the new album is of a certain importance to me to.
I would like to see it as an album with a limited edition with a bonus DVD with a few extra tracks on it.
And a decent booklet insert too please ???
:-)))) h. |

what's in a name?..so what if the new album is going to be known as dynamite?..i agree with kmackdaddy..don't judge the cd by it's title..the content that's what count...for me i think "The Return Of The Space Cowboy" is a silly name..if not because of jamiroquai i probably wouldnt bought it in the first place..but hey who knows that ROTSC is the best jamiroquai album yet..unlike A Funk Odyssey..which sound so cool,so revolution,so promising and then turn out to be like...not that "COOL" (sorry to AFO fans..just being honest here) ...ok..so the 6th studio album is going to be known as dynamite..i don't expect it to be like AFO and i hope it wouldnt be like AFO as jay has promise that this new album is going back to jamiroquai roots...let cross our finger and hope that "dynamite" will blown us away despite the absence of toby, nick, wallis, stu and dzire..... _________________ Selamat Pagi Dunia |

I can't believe people are still sad and discussing the name of the sixth album... Who cares? I said on another thread that the new cd can be called "Dynamite", "Jamiroquai" or even "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and I'll rushing out to buy it the minute it gets released over here... Some fans sound like newcomers to the band! When have Jamiroquai released an awful album? Never! All 5 cds have contained several inspired and brilliant songs. Why should it be any different this time? Why worry so much beforehand? Listen to the cd first and then judge it, not the other way around.
As for those who think Jamiroquai are only good if they sound like EOPE, be prepared, because I very much doubt that the new cd will be like that again... Let's face it, acid jazz has sort of died a slow death, hasn't it? Besides, it's always great to move on and break new barriers, especially if you're a musician. Jamiroquai have done no wrong so far. I can't imagine they'll put out a bad album now. |

I feel more and more optimisic about the title "Dynamite". I am confident that it is the right choice to describe the feeling of the new sound of Jamiroquai. It will be powerfull, rocky, funky and full of energy... it will be THE BOMB!!!
And I am sure it will heat our heels!!!
