NO!!!!
For you fans out there not living in the U.S. (most of you), the city of Minneapolis is pretty big. Mixed with it's "Twin City" St Paul (Minneapolis and St Paul are called the Twin Cities), and surrounding suburbs, there are about 3 million people in the area. But it's obviously not big enough to get some of the big acts to come play there. I'am very disappointed that Alicia Keys on her upcoming tour will not be playing in Minneapolis!!!!! The closest gig is Chicago on 4/1 and 4/2. If I have enough money to go there to see her (and if there are any tix left, because they went on sale last week), I will see her there, but I hate taking road trips all the time to do it. She's not playing a big arena or stadium in any city of this tour (which Minneapolis has very adequate arenas and the 60,000 seat Metrodome), so it's disappointing that she couldn't come here and play one of our theaters or auditoriums.

I'll be following this same routine unfortunately if the U.S. gets Jamiroquai on the upcoming tour. The closest the band will come will once again be Chicago. Ok Im done venting... But yeah if you like Alica Keys Im assuming this is more than just a U.S. tour, it's probably a world tour, so keep your eyes peeled for her coming close to you. Peace!

About Prince
Yes, he of course did - Xenophobia Celebration 2002 (12CD) & Musicology Celebration 2004 (12CD) bootlegs (both from Paisley Park) are ones of the greatest bootlegs I heard.

I like Prince as well.

Forum question - Do other Jamiroquai fans also like Prince, or do they consider him "past his sell by date" ?

I sure as hell don't think he's past his sell by date. He can make records until he's a senile old man and he'd still go platinum.

He's a genius...plain and simple.

Between the Musicology album and the whole thing on the Dave Chapelle Show: Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories- Prince (Different from the Rick James one), Prince had a lot of fame in the last year. I think not too long ago he just wrapped up a major tour.

Over the past years, he's played a few gigs at Paisley Park. It's actually only about 15 minutes from my house. They are un-announced gigs usually, you just gotta hear about them through word of mouth. I have not been lucky enough to know about them til afterword though Sad
