May 2nd Possible Release
Hello Jamirotalkers,

In all this confussion about 'late spring', I found a lot of sites -the ones that said the October, February and March dates too- with a new release date:

www.musicmen.co.uk has listed 'Dynamite' (still TBC) for a May 2nd release:

Quote:

May 2
album
Embrace - Out of nothing (US)
Jamiroquai - Dynamite (TBC)
Kanye West - Late Registration
Nitin Sawhney - Philtre
Renee Olstead - Renee Olstead
Seether - TBA
OST - Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy
OST - Xxx2: state of the union

Ukmix forums too:

Quote:
May 2
album
Jamiroquai - Dynamite (TBC)
Kanye West - Late Registration
OST - Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy

I have a question, May is in late spring? Or early spring? Rolling Eyes

buffaloman_R Hello buffaloman_R

Smile Hmmm, I hate to speculate again and again, but that does look a "single release date" in my eyes Smile! Wink Thanks for finding that Oh Brother Diego Wink! I have been thinking about how they will release the 1st single, a pair of CD1 and CD2 releases, a DVD Single companion, a pair of used socks by JK, or something like that. Oh well, keep the reports coming mate! Thanks for listening and Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

HMV SPECIAL: When you buy 2 or more copies of the
new single by Jamiroquai, you get a pair of used Adidas
Socks that were worn and sweated on by the very own JK!

May is considered late Spring. Because the Summer Solstace starts in late June. But once you hit June 1, most people consider it "summer", at least in the U.S. that is. A May release, and maybe a June tour? We can only hope!!!!

P.S. lol to Jamirofan on the gimmick lol

Well, I checked today and now it says:

2biting argh... I can't stand it anymore.

Really, meanwhile I don't care about the date. It's all the same to me: March, April, May, June, July... BUT I don't wanna hear those different and always changing dates anymore. It's annoying, really. I want something reliable, something that I can calculate and trust.

Hey, we should put a rule: No discussions about non-official release dates, hm? Rolling Eyes Wink

"A Flash of On the Scene" by JamiroFan2000

A group of various journalists have converged onto Sony Headquarters for a press conference on the future of the upcoming 6th Jamiroquai album. Reporters shuffle through timing cards, the crowd of journos start parting and making way for JamiroFan2000. The reporters and their cameramen scower at the mere sight of the overly smiling JamiroFan2000 and his faithful Cameraman.

JamiroFan2000 motions to the Cameraman to set up about 3 feet from the Sony/BMG monographed podium. Jam looks at asks, "So, am I in frame Camera dude?" The Cameraman, after peering through the camera replies, "You are absolutely 'Mona Lisa' Jam!" Jam flares his eyebrows at him, "Whatever, I'm ready to go live now...on me in 3, 2, 1."

Jam starts reporting with his handy Jamiroquai News Network microphone, "Hello Jamirobolicious Jamirophiles, this is your reliable and salty as a peanut anchorman JamiroFan2000 here on location at a important Sony/BMG news conference. Several media outlets, the ones that actually give a damn about Jamiroquai news, about 6 of them counting me, hehe, have shown up to cover this development. Details are sketchy what this conference is about, but we are expecting to FINALLY hear a confirmed release date for the 6th Jamiroquai album and it's 1st single."

A gentleman walks out of the entrance of Sony HQ to a fleet of flashing camera, he walks to the podium with carrying reply cards. Jam turns to the camera and comments, "Oh boy here we go, there better be not be another album delay I will choke the Adam's Apple out of him!" The gentleman smiles to the press and starts his announcement, "Hello, I'm Walt Toolong, director of new album release relations here at Sony/BMG. I would like to thank the press for showing up today, it's been a trying 3 years for Sony/BMG and Jamiroquai, but we have a announcement to make pertaining to their upcoming 6th studio album."

He continues, "The new Jamiroquai album has been indefinitely delayed for release. Thank you for your understanding, now I will take your questions." One journo raises his hand, Walt points to him and he asks, "Hello, John Stackme, Brighton Sun, why has the new Jamiroquai album been delayed a new grand total of 4 separate times since late 2004 and early 2005?" Walk answers, "Well, new albums are a tricky thing. In this case, JK, the lead singer, wasn't receptive to our proposals. He ignored our feedback and caused these unwarranted delays. Next Question please." A female journo raises her hand, and she asks her question, "Paula Peterson, London Times, do you still care for having Jamiroquai your top record label act?" Walk replies, "We highly respect Mister Kay and his various bandmembers achievements over the last 13 years of their existance. It's just the times when they are unprofessional that we end up questioning those intentions. I got time for one last question."

Jam, jumping up and down, gets his attention, and with a flushed and angry face answers his question, "JamiroFan2000, The Jamiroquai News Network, I have a question for you Doo-Doo head, after my commentary. What you are saying is absolute and total bollocks! JK and the band have operated normally, it's YOU cronies who have negated their new album process! If you didn't harass your artists to put out new stuff, then they could have the time and energy to put it out in their own time. Now to my question, is there even a 6th Jamiroquai album done and in the can OR has JK not even given you a album to put out?" Walt gives a look of surprise and replies, "Uh, I don't know who your sources are....but yes you are right, there isn't a new Jamiroquai album, it was a office joke that went terribly bad. Sony/BMG and it's employees would like to sincerely apologize to all of Jamiroquai's fans."

JK storms through entrance doors and peers in anger at Walt. Walt gives a look of befuddlement to him and comments, "Whoa, hey, look, it's Mr. Jamiroquai, Jason Kay!" JK replies to him in anger, "Mate, there IS a new album, and it's coming out in May. And THIS IS FOR THE FANS!!" JK lunges at Walt, knocking over the podium and starts fighting him, gasps of horror come from the press. Jam, in delight, looks at the Camera and comments, "Well folks, things seem to have worked out after all. The New Jamiroquai is coming out in due time and JK gets his revenge on Sony! This JamiroFan2000 signing off! Stay Classy JamiroFans!" Without warning, Jam runs up and starts kicking at Walt as JK is pulled off him.

Laughing I know, that had a extreme ending Laughing! I hope you enjoyed that and thanks for reading! Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
