Yeah, I haven't though that before... perhaps it's a surprise he doesn't wanna show yet. Or, like Jamirobeto said, that may be one of the two or more Dynamite's hats (I'm sure I'll like at least one ) |
hope jay kay will wear only one kind of hat, as he did in the AFO Tour... but with different colors, i remember he used the AFO hat in white and black, and the synkronized ones were white, black and red.... bye guys... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Another interesting aspect that funkin reported is, that MTV and Kiss 100 FM were at the launch party in London on Saturday.
There is a small chance that MTV will broadcast parts of the event, so that we got to hear and see them performing!

Hello Jamirotalkers,
I told you it was a cool hat! Although I do think this is not the one for the world tours.
I would really like MTV to show at least a couple of songs from that event, I wonder how are we able to see it! I don't think all MTV's will show the same.

Hello,
Ah man, sometimes I wish I had internet access on Sundays....UGH !!! Anyhoo, well, good to see JK and the boys finally doing some rounds to expose their new "Dynamite" instead being closed doors with the Sony/BMG dorks . And those 2 new JK hats, well, the "black feather wrapped one" is great, as for the "cotton brushed one", hmmm...looks like something I could make in my Home Economics back in middle School....hehe. Still, I wonder if those hats are hints on what the new "Dynamite" hat will look like ? I can imagine it....
Jamiroquai are tearing up the stage performing a rollicking live version of their new single "Feels Just Like It Should". JK is trotting around the stage like a possessed Mick Jagger with a weird top hot covered in sticks of explosives. Right at the highest cresendo, JK motions for a stage hand to come out and light a fuse connected to the back of his hat. The fuse frantically singes, and right the end of the song, the fireworks start exploding off JK's Hat. JK, with a constant look of fear flies around the stage uncontrollably, the bandmembers evaculate the stage. About 10 minutes later, a large plume of smoke later, JK emerges through the plume of smoke to a concerned crowd that is dead silent. JK's face covered in soot and black smudge, coughs and lightly murmurs into the mic, "Whoa, that was Dynamite!" The Band assembles back onto stage and each hug JK, the crowd breaks out in positive vibes and massive applause.
Ha Ha Ha ! OK, I know, "Don't Try This At Home"! I look forward to more photos from that gig and thanks to brother Diego for this news post ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

That mini-story was preety cool Brent! i liked it!!
and the hat Jay was wearing in the link number one (posted by Cristina) seems so original!! i have never seen Jay wearing this hat before!!!
a friend told me that the hat seems like the one he used in the TWM, but that's absurd...
IF YOU THINK THE HAT IS LIKE THE ONE IN THE TWM ERA, I HOPE THAT THE MUSIC THEY WILL PLAY IS THE SAME LIKE THE ONE THEY PLAYED IN THOSE HIGH TIMES!!
heehehhehe
i like them too... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

I think that too... ... but little I know about fashion... but think about it... it makes sense. J was well known because of his TWM hat. Now that JMQ is trying to be succesful again in the states, it's logical to think that he will choose a hat that like that one... or... I could be wrong. _________________ We're going to a funktion yeah yeah yeah |

here are the parts of the article that i found that consider jamiroquai and some quotes from jay kay and a pic:
Jamiroquai took to the tiny stage and performed only their second gig in two years.
"We all know we're here for the launch of Gizmondo, don't we?" laughed front man JK in front of a gobsmacked crowd. They then played songs from an upcoming album never aired before.
"It's always a risky business doing new songs," he added. "It's exactly ideal coming on after Sting does his greatest hits, you know."
During a pause between tracks Jay Kay was talking about a six month ban and a significant fine. He obviously has not bee using the PocketGPSWorld.com safety camera database!

I'm glad to notice that I'm starting to like that hat . It happens to me sometimes... there's something I don't like at first and then I love it _________________
