Look what's on funkin.com
The Timo Maas remix of Feels Just Like It Should is out on the web already! ump3 has online the complete set of Timo Maas' recent set at the Timewarp in Mannheim (Germany) on 02 April. The complete 100 minute DJ set is online for download and the remix of Feels Just Like It Should can be found at about 41 minutes into the file. The remix looks to be about eight minutes long _________________ There's only once or twice that you're in line with Mr. Moon |

what a disappointment
There is so much he could do with the remix. instead it's one of those club-remixes made for...well clubs :p
Usually I like Timo Maas' remixes... this one is poor |

It's craptacular. Maybe next time, Jay should try remixing the thing himself. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Hello,
I agree with most of you, that FJLIS remix of Timo's was way too forced, he should have spent more time on it . It's your basic "Bargain Basement Trance" with snippets of the FJLIS vocals and synth arrangements as lost a blind mouse in a maze. I mean, I don't totally condemn the remix, but being the ONLY remix that has surfaced, I would strongly think it will be on the single, since Timo did note that Sony/BMG would be putting out promos of it soon. Anyhoo, not a entirely enjoyable remix to listen to on repeated occasions, thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

I am always very apprehensive of any of the remixes, very rarely do I find one that I can listen to and 'almost' enjoy. Some of them are such pointless distortions I have to classify them in the poetically coined words of JF2K . . . 'bargain basement (trance)'.
I never fail to tire of the orginals.
With one exception . . . the London Rican mix of EOPE (and it's not because it bears the name of the place of my birth).
FJLIS is too 'busy' for me to contemplate a remix of it at this early stage of listening to it.
My eldest daughter heard just a few seconds of FJLIS and classified it as another DU, I don't know where she came up with that - but I found that very saddening. She is hyper-critical of Jamiroquai, something natural for a teenager to 'suffer' from when her mother is Little H, but she is very honest too. Perhaps this will be the opinion of the general public too.
On the future remix front, I can settle for anything that "Sir" JK puts his pretty fingers on, but I am up and ready for anything new. Mr. Maas is very popular with McFly and JF2K so I find there referances promising. |
