FJLIS Official Radio Debut & More Free Jami Gigs!!

Smile Tis thy "Summer of the Buffaloman"! Smile
buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Very Happy David Rowe remarked to me a few days ago that alot would be happening in the coming days, and boy was he right, alot announced on the Funkin Site, and here it is (A Little import from the JAMIROQUAI CLub Yahoo Group of my newsitem e-mail sendout):

1#: It was just announced on the Jo Whiley Show on BBC Radio 1 (UK)
that she would be officially debutting "Dynamite's" first
single "Feels Just Like It Should" on her show the morning of April
18th between 10:00 am & 12:30 pm that weekday morning. You can
listen to the Jo Whiley Show on BBC Radio 1 on the internet, just
click the following link and look out for a stream of this radio
debut of FJLIS, I think:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/jowhiley/
*Special thanks to the Funkin Site for this*

2#: Jamiroquai will be performing at 2 free gigs in the month of
May. First, Jamiroquai will be performing at the BBC Radio 1 Free
Festival on Sunday, May 8th. This will be held at the Herrington
County Park in Sunderland the weekend of May 8th/9th, to get tickets
to it, consult Radio 1's website at:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/bigweekend05/ticket_giveaway.shtml
Second, Jamiroquai will also be performing at MTVs Super Dry
Live 2005 in Japan on May 28th. This free concert tickets will be
available to 10,000 people. More information about this gig can be
found here:
http://www.superdry-mtv.com/
*Special thanks to the Funkin Site for this*

3#: Attached to the site about the MTV Super Dry Gig was a new
picture of JK which I'm guessing will be part of the early promotions
for "Dynamite, the new picture is at the top of this post.
*Special thanks to the Funkin Site for the scan link*

There you go, I hope some of the Japanese & UK fans are able to attend the live free gigs! Thanks for listening and Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Great news! I wish they would play up here in Scotland for free though Sad

You might want to correct the date for the first radio airplay from the 16th to the 18th by the way Wink

I guess that car in the photo is his own blue cadillac which he has bought about one year ago in LA!

I think it's INCREDIBLY likely that it's UK time. And could the new photo of Jay also be linked to the FJLIS video?

The car, is a Cadillac that he bought of fellow Englishman Mr. Vinnie Jones.

I think he was a footballer to begin with and then he cashed in on his rugged looks and found his calling cast as an East-End (of London) gangster in the Guy Ritchie movies Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. And they are excellent viewing, as I have mentioned before on this forum. They truly portray Cockney culture at it's crudest, very comical and endearing, makes me proud to be a Cockney !!!

I bet "Sir" JK and Vinnie enjoy a few jars and jokes after the sale of the aqua beauty.

:-))))

FJLIS radio version (sample) for download
Hello,

Just want to let you know that a little sample of FJLIS (radio version) can be downloaded on www.funkin.com. This one is a little bit different than the leaked version which most of you have.

Hello Jamirotalkers,

Just a minute ago I was in bed listening to the radio and suddenly the vocodered bass of Jay starts to sound! I jumped and I recorded the first time I heard 'FJLIS' on the radio. Very Happy

And like David said on his site, there's a little sound difference near the end. To be honest, Im starting to dig the song. Although I prefer the leaked version, this one sounds "darker". The beginning is also different.
