(Happily logs onto new "Dynamite edition" of the Official Site, and ends up with a initial reaction of ... ...on his face. Looks at the "Bubble target crosshairs" in the Flash animated top section and automatically thinks to self, "UH OH!!!! SONY/BMG is coming for Meike's Bubbles and JamiroTalk next.....AHHHHHH!!!!")
Hello,
I was all ready and poised for a outstanding "Dynamite edition" entity raising of the Official Site, but as I guessed, it's a premature site that is very buggy, but it is nice I guess . I was going to put my full take on the new Official Site, but I see a newer topic for reactions, so I'll further elaborate and berate it there. Nice site...Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

Hello Jamirotalkers,
OK, still to be updated of course. I don't think I'll be on that forum, since I believe this, jamirotalk, is my home.
On the biography of Jay you can read about the new songs!:
| Quote: |
“I’ve still got so much to prove,” he says of why he’s spent the best part of two years writing, recording and honing sixth album, ‘Dynamite’. “You’ve always got something to prove in this game. But the bottom line is I still love it. I love the thrill of seeing a track come together, and with this album we’ve been sitting with tracks, meticulously going through them, changing things, getting it right.”
Written and recorded in Spain, Italy, Costa Rica, Scotland, New York, Los Angeles and his own purpose built Buckinghamshire studio, ‘Dynamite’ is both a consolidation of thirteen years of Jamiroquai’s trademarked sci-fi sound and a cocky, two fingers to anyone who thinks that at 35, Kay might be resting on his country pile.
Single ‘Feels Just Like It Should’ for one is a ramped-up, high-octane snarl; Jamiroquai’s organic funk put through a digital grinder and pinned to a filthy groove. “Yeah, it’s really filthy. And that bass groove came from me pissing about as a human beatbox. You hear it and think what the fuck’s this? If you haven’t had an album out in four years you want to have an impact, and this says it, I’m back with a vengeance.”
“It’s bigger,” says Kay of the new album’s frenetic pulse. “We recorded the whole album live, then digitally edged it, tightened it up, gave it a harder sound. But I also wanted to maximise the groove, to keep the verses sparse and the choruses big. ‘Dynamite’’s a groove and I wanted to nail it.”
‘The World He Wants’ is a half-time reflection on where the ‘leader’ of the free world is taking it; ‘Star Child’ questions the mindset of a world where TV evangelists are seen as moral guardians and thumping floor-filler ‘Give Hate A Chance’ is “an anthemic, DJ ready, sign of our times.” |
But overall.. mmm... I want to see new images...

| His favourite Jamiroquai show so far has been Wembley Arena 1999 and visiting Buenos Aires with the band in 1997 was also one of the highpoints of his career. |

I have to say, I'm dissapointed with the new site.
A band like Jamiroquai should have the best site on the scene, and not some half product. It really isn't up to the task. Atleast in my opinion. |

You know what??
I REALLY don't like it!
Its a cheap copy of this site, it runs really slowly and it hasn't got any new stuff, really. Nothing to get so excited about anyhow. _________________ Fascist.

there aren't any pictures of other band members, even on the biography page; info about Matt Johnson is "coming soon"; then there's that weird thing that says "header" on the right side of the page. and yeah, the forum is just a lesser knock-off of the hallowed jamirotalk....
however, it's nice to have David involved (and identified) as forum moderator, and the music player is a nice addition - big improvement on the fuzzy "corner of the earth" on the old AFO site. the news ticker looks rather "BBC world service."
they're definitely going to update this. i hope _________________ i left my funk in san francisco

i really think so....
you're right...
the site's design is amazing but it need information.... we want pics of Jamiroquai... not only Jay Kay...
and the site runs so slow... i agree with that too... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!
