B-live tour
Quote:
The official site has announced details of the London open air show being held in July. B-Live is a three day event taking place on Clapham Common and Jamiroquai will be headlining on Sunday 3 July. Also performing on the same day are the Brand New Heavies. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster. The event was announced today and is sponsored by Bacardi Rum. A glass of Bacardi, the Brand New Heavies and Jamiroquai sounds like a perfect way to spend a (hopefully) sunny day in London, so see you there Smile

I might well be: its only south London so about forty miles from me. Plus with the Brand New Heavies too it sounds like a good event...

Tickets are £30...

I've got mine Smile Look forward to seeing some Jamirotalkers there. It's by no means close to where I am, but I think I can make a good trip of it.

See ya there!

GOOD LORD I thought the Brand New Heavies were long gone! I wish I could be there. Lord knows how much I wish I lived in the UK.

Ok, so with a week to go I thought we should make some arrangements. What time are people actually going to Clapham Common? And are we meeting somewhere before going?

I'm booked into the Battersea Travel Lodge, which is apparently meant to be close (less than 2 miles i think) to Clapham Common. Guess for how much? 26 quid! Can only check into the room at 3pm mind you, so I'll have to think of something. I'll drive up in the morning (its about 3 or 4hr drive, depending on the speed and traffic) and leave the car at the hotel and get a Hackney Carriage to Clapham Common.

Does anyone know if I will have to pay the london CONgestion charge if I'm in the Battersea Hotel? Probably will won't I... another 5-er Evil or Very Mad

Expect a full trip report on your desks soon afterwards

Thinking out loud: Must service the car before going, the 'worn brake pads' light keeps comin on. The old girl is gettin quite tired.

Hehe! Count me in!

I will be coming up to London early on Sunday morning by train as I live 2 hours away and can't drive yet Sad I'll have to catch a train back home soon after the festival ends though or I won't get home Confused

It's going to be a great day though and I'm really looking forward to meeting you guys! Very Happy

P.S. Stu'z will be there too!
