Do you think Jay is wearing his AFO-hat in the FJLIS musicvideo?

Return of the AFO-hat
Something in the vid was drawing my attention. Look at this screenshot I made:

Do you see what I see?
Is it Jay wearing his AFO-hat?

I don't think it's the return of the AFO hat. He's definitely wearing it, but I don't think it's back. I think it's for continuity between albums (as I said before, no one recognized Jay without his black fur top hat in America during synkronized...).

What was the "black spikey number" Jay mentioned in the BBC1 interview? Is it that? A variation on the AFO hat? Because its not exactly the same hat... but similar, i agree.

maybe it is a reference to the AFO-area, as it is pretty obvious that at least part of the songs have been developed for AFO (listen to the promo-sampler and you know what i mean)

No, it's not the retiurn of the AFo hat, the video has it, definitely, but a black version.(must be an evil version) but I think it's just for the video, hopefully he'll come with another hat, i mean, be original J

not be original, cos that hat is very original, and he can use his inventions all the times he wants.... he must be innovative... if he wore a hat on each album, just keep doing it...

It's a variation of the AFO hat. To me, it represents a link from A Funk Odyssey to Dynamite, symbolising a change in their sound, but, at the same time, incorporating elements of their sound that we all know and love.
