2 Part FJLIS Single Release after all!!
Hello,
Upon the addition of pre-purchases of the FJLIS singles and Dynamite album on the J-Shop today, it looks like we fans will get a 2-part FJLIS single after all . Which is good, I just hope they REALLY surprise with some new material B-sides OR the "Really missing in action" Instrumental B-sides. The thing that would really kill the FJLIS single is the inclusion of the Timo Maas remix of the track, in a dub and remix version, no offense to Timo, I just think he should have taken more time on his remix . The 2 parter single is looking like this so far:
FJLIS CD Maxi Single - 2.95 pounds (British Currency)
No Tracklisting yet, I'm guessing:
1. Feels Just Like It Should (Album Version) 3:39
2. Feels Just Like It Should (Timo Maas Remix) 8:00
FJLIS CD Single - 1.99 pounds (British Currency)
No Tracklisting yet, about the same as above
I just hope there additional FJLIS remixes in the works OR in the editting and mixing stages (The Neptunes Remix?!?). Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

Are you guessing the running times for the 2-track Brent?? Because theyre not allowed to be over 10 minutes I guess the remix will be cut down or something? |

rip off
2 single versions again??
and it would be possible to put the two singles together in one cd - but fans buy everything with their artists name on it, so we'll sell two! YAY rip fans off... |

Hmm...I don't think Jamiroquai have released a single in this way before...
The two track single is likely to have a new b-side, it will NOT SELL VERY WELL if it only comes with another remix.
The Maxi CD could be 2 or 3 remixes, unless they feel this isn't a very interesting idea...(which it isn't) This has been done before with Love Foolosophy.
The first AFO single (Little L) was only released on one format and consisted of only remixes. Maybe the change this time around is to use up b-sides?
Another possibility is a remix of an old AFO track (like Deeper Underground on the Canned Heat single, which wasn't on the previous album, but still wasn't really a good idea). Needless to say, this would be a horrible thing to do.
Maybe like the old days they'll put an album track or two on there. Remember the Space Cowboy single with 'The Kids' and 'Journey to Arhemland' AND the demo version of Space Cowboy? Or the Greatest Hits singles for HTM and SIT?
Something not often done for Jami singles is Live tracks. I'm sure everyone would appreciate high-quality recodings of STM and Cannabliss from Montreux!
Even less likely, but more interesting would be the long forgotten extended versions and instrumentals of old. I never got tired of my TYTD single with 4 versions, but the Love Foolosophy one...
Though I'm doubtful about a DVD release myself, I'd be surprised if the Maxi CD didn't feature the CD-ROM video. It's great!
Why are they giving us the formats without the tracklistings though? Is it really that hard? Even the album tracklisting has been revealed _________________

little l was released on cd single and vinil single, not only one format
i really want to hear any b-side or cool stuff on the cd, and more if it's only 2 tracks on it.
.....timo maas remix sucks! _________________
