Hi !
Sorry if this has been discussed before...
As I´m trying to get rid of my bad habit ( or should I say addiction ), I´m asking myself how many of you are smokers.
I´ve been a smoker for about 7 years now ( I´m 24 now ) and I hate it. I smoke about 1 whole pack a day ! 
I simply cannot afford it anymore and my health isn´t in the best shape
either. I have often tried to quit, but my longest non-smoking period has been 2 month.
Everytime I try to quit I have a relapse.
What can I do ! Everybody around me smokes. So the seduction is always there.
But today I made my decision : I will smoke my last cigarette at 23:55.
( There are still 3 fags in the pack )
And from 24:00 on I´m a non smoker !!!
I swear !

Well, about me, i'm 29 and i smoke since 10 years and , actually, i have no intention to stop........yeah, it's not a good thing, i know, but i like it, especially when i'm nervous and stressed.......

try someone smoking next to you when they r tripping hard and have no concept of perception or anything.... and blow smoke right in ur face... lol |

Hey cosmic_kris are you still non-smoker ? I keep my fingers crossed that you make it!!! I smoked for a long long time and never succeeded in giving it up until I started running. I swear they don't taste anymore if you start running!!! Your lungs will be very thankfull for it!!! |

If you dislike smoking that much, you can be a non-smoker. Especially if you want to. I'm a medic student, and I won't bore you with all the riscs and diseases of smoking, but after all I've heard, I can't find any good reason to smoke!
Good luck, and if you have a hard time, just write at this forum...

Yeah i really dislike cigerettes its not only harms urself but others around u.. thats my main "beef" with ciggies u harm innocent children also not just urself
