Beverly Knight is definitely the Queen of Soul!!!
I saw three shows of her and each one was an improvement on the last! I also enjoyed the funny backing vocals. It seemed if they had a good party time on stage

when i was in singapore, i got a 2-cd set of 'urban grooves' only because it had a beverly knight song. what a lovely voice...  can't wait to get my hands on 'never too late'... just heard a clip and it sounds real phat! |

HER TOUR IN GERMANY
I only saw and heard her at the JAMI concert in Berlin. Yes, her voice is terrific. I saw 2 videos of her on VIVA. I was struck how natural she looked. Her big smile is overwhelming. I would have never tought that "unperfect teeth" can be so convincing.
What I mean is that she did not had her teeth straighten just to fit into the frame of perfect-looking woman with silicone busom, shiny cheeks and slender thighs. You really get fed up with all that unnatural perfect looking wanna-be female singers that MTV is broadcasting.
The videos were also original and close-to-life. One video was with a refreshing and simple shot children (how many years ago did I last see children on a music video?).
Hey CosmicMouse, Beverly Knights are coming to Germany. Was it in April? I can't remember. |

she'll be in germany in may. you can find the dates on her webpage. the dates are pretty close to the Jamiroquai-performances. i would like to see her again, she's fantastic

Yesterday I saw an advertisement sign for her concert in Berlin in the "Columbia Halle" and the date was March 20th, not May.
Still, I really hope you are right, CosmicBear and that she will sing with Jami at the German festivals. |

no, she's not performing together with jamiroquai at the festivals. at least not as a group on her own. but you can find her tourdates on her webpage. love fool posted them earlier in this thread...

Beverley Knight is a talented performer, a real show stopper! Not only is she a fantastic singer, she's beautiful (I'm jealous!) and a nice person, which I gather from the short time I had in her presence. Big Up the UK talent!
